Katie Holmes to Launch Clothing Line in the Fall

Steve Granitz/WireImage

When Katie Holmes first collaborated with her stylist Jeanne Yang to design a gorgeous dress for last year’s Tropic of Thunder premiere, and then again, creating a striking satin jumpsuit for her own Broadway debut, we had a feeling there was a line percolating. And now, a rep for Katie confirms to PEOPLE that a “line will be sold at Maxfield in the fall.” Katie and Jeanne are teaming up for a collection that will include women’s and children’s clothes, according to WWD, which also writes that the “premium designer” line will be full of classic fare and the children’s range is presumably inspired by Katie’s daughter Suri Cruise. We can’t wait to see it! Tell us: Are you excited to see Katie Holmes’s collection?

If the Tropic of Thunder dress and the Broadway debut jumpsuit are any indication, I will definitely pass. Probably too expensive for the average working woman anyway.

Wow, I thought her own designs looked so hand sewn, and her designer ensembles often miss the mark. She tries so hard and seems so nice, but someone should gently guide her in a different direction.

Mono

No.

Didn’t liked her previous designs. That dress and jumpsuit! I hope she will make something better of those 2 outfit. Usually i like her sense of style.

IF the dress she is wearing is any indication of what is to come- she should stick to being a mom
