What is the purposed of her putting Kim Kardashian in her magazine and allowing her to wear more conservative clothes when that’s not who she is. Kim only agreed because of Oprah’s power and fame, Oprah only picked Kim because of her popularity and I’m not faulting Kim for being in that magazine but I would bet you a million dollars that she was as surprised as I am to find out that she was even being considered for the magazine. No one’s perfect, but this move still tells the black population what we’ve been thinking for years, that Oprah is too fascinated by the white audience. She does whatever she can to promote white actors, white singers, white people in despair. I mean they get not one appearance on the show but recurring roles. Now whe’s latched on her newest white fascination, Kim Kardashian, who in many people’s minds is the equivalence of Lil Kim–overly sexual rapper, but one of the best black female lyricists. She used to show her breasts, her behind, wear the tight skimpy clothes, and she was on Dancing With the Stars. I have not seen Lil Kim anywhere near Oprah. I’ve seen Marie Osmond, and, and I’ve stated Kim K. But, if Oprah’s gonna have Kim K. in the magazine in hopes of transforming people’s opinions of Kim, why not put Lil Kim on the show or in the magazine. I think it’s sad, because quite frankly I am kinda a fan of both. But, Oprah you need to recognize who you are, the power of your fame, and your persuasion not just for white people, but for black people as well. And please do not film a MJ episode and ask anyone if they wanted to be white, because that would be so hypocritical!
