Nicole Richie is known as known for her boho-chic style as she is for Hollywood pedigree — and with fans like Madonna wearing her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection, her design career couldn’t be hotter. Pregnant with her second child (daughter Harlow Winter is 19 months old), the star has signed on to create (and model) a line of maternity clothes with her signature flair for A Pea in the Pod. Richie talked to PEOPLE exclusively about the new line, explaining that the collaboration works because “Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it.” And being pregnant herself means that Nicole is especially considerate of her customers. “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.” And while Nicole admits she doesn’t always wear maternity clothes, she definitely thinks the pregnant form should be flaunted! “I think the pregnant body is beautiful, and I think you should show it off,” citing her jean cutoffs as a go-to this pregnancy. As for what to expect in the line, think peasant tops, layering tees, flowing maxidress and braided details. Nicole may have a few months left until she has her second child, but she says of her newest design collection making its debut, “It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams coming together. I’m so excited for people to see them. I just hope that people like it.” We give it our thumbs up! “Nicole”, an exclusive collection for A Pea in the Pod stores on Friday, with prices ranging from $48 for tank tops to $148 to maxidresses.

Kathy wrote: Give your children the greatest gift…make them legitamite. Does alot for their self-esteem and feelings of worth.

RESPONSE: There are plenty of people who are married and have children with low self esteem and there are plenty of children with unmarried parents who are doing great. It is people like YOU who would actually make children feel ashamed. Who wouldn’t feel bad when adults like yourself are out there calling them legitimate? If everybody only focused on raising their OWN children, society would be a thousandfolds better.

As Christians we are to pray for those that are living in sin… not flaunt their sins for everyone to judge! If more people looked at the sin in their own life they wouldn’t be so quick to judge others…….

RESPONSE: Your statement is just as horrifying! What a backhanded comment…’praying for us who are living in sin’. Oh please, pray for me so my life can be as great as yours! Nice holier than thou attitude toward others. Please pray for yourself for a little expanse of mind so that you won’t live life ‘secretly judging’ others.

Rose wrote: Is this bimbo ever going to get married, or are they just going to keep having kids? Why are these people glorified? What a good role model they have on kids now.

RESPONSE: I’m sure that ‘bimbo’ makes alot more money than you do and I bet that if you were her childrens’ mother, they would grow up and shine lots of negativity on the world, just as you would teach them. Oh, and let me guess? You’re married. With children.
