As if winning an Oscar and starring in movies alongside Brad Pitt and George Clooney weren’t glamorous enough, the actress can now add high fashion model to her resume. One of the oldest luxury labels in the world, Pringle of Scotland, has announced that Tilda Swinton will be the new face of their spring/summer 2010 collection. The actress, who is known for her avant garde fashion choices, will join forces with famed photographer Ryan McGinley for a global ad campaign that will include a short film and still photos. The campaign will be shot in August on location in Scotland and images will be unveiled in September. We can’t wait to see what Tilda and Pringle of Scotland have in store for us. She has that androgynous look like Annie Lennox. I don’t care for it, but she does have a model’s body. Looking forward to seeing the spread.

Love Tilda–she’s fearless and her choices obviously reflect that. I think she gets a bad rap for wearing interesting clothes, not the nearly-interchangeable, formulaic gowns that most women wear to awards shows and premieres. Very much looking forward to the Pringle ads.
