I fully support this cause. My boyfriend and I got rear-ended because the driver behind us was texting on his Blackberry. Luckily, no one was hurt because that driver wasn’t going fast enough, but it could have been a lot worse.

And Katy, that is not something you should be bragging about. Texting is extremely detrimental to one’s driving ability. You may as well be drunk.

I fully support this. My husband’s friend was killed by some idiot who was texting on her phone. She rear-ended him while he was stopped at a construction zone. Broke his neck, killing him instantly. Left behind a wife, 2 little girls and a newborn son. People who text and drive are IDIOTS and should lose their license!

I am a strong supporter of this. It takes enough concentration driving without texting. So many kids are dying because of this so i think its time we focus on this issue.
