Scarlett Johansson’s Mango Ads Revealed!

Ever since Mango first announced that Scarlett Johansson would be replacing Penelope Cruz for their Fall/Winter 2009 ad campaign, we have been dying to see what they had in store for us. And they did not disappoint! The sultry star, who is also the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s makeup line, sheds her ’50s glam for a punky ’80s feel for Mango’s new ads shot by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti in Los Angeles. Showing off her legs in short tight dresses complete with high heels, tousled hair and animal prints, Scarlett has never looked sexier. Tell us: What do you think of Scarlett’s ads for Mango?

She looks beautiful in the pictures, but she doesn’t look like herself. She looks as if she lost a lot of weight for the shoot. I love the more natural, curvier, fuller faced, more classic look…that Renaissance beauty look in “Girl with a Pearl Earring”…stunning! But hey, she’s young and fabulous and she’s an actress and change is interesting and fun.

Penelope is also a stunner. No comparison. Just a different vibe.

what i want to know is….why?! She (and P Cruz) already make X million dollars for every film, and yeah i know ads are even better money for the time invested (which no doubt is the answer to the question), but i just think this cheapens her as an artist. the next time one of her flicks comes out i’ll be thinking “hmm, yeah well maybe see that…maybe”.

Both Scarlett & Penelope showed off their curves in Mango ads. Scarlett flaunted her curves really well in these photos, from Louis Vuitton to Dolce & Gabbana, she just looks perfect. Aroused my interest for Mango too. :]

I think Scarlett is gorgeous, a goddess, but not in these pictures. I would not have recognised her at all. The 1950′s suit her better.
