Beyonce’s “Fierce” Clothing Line Goes Back-to-School

America’s high schools are about to get a lot more stylish come fall. In partnership with her mom Tina Knowles and their existing design label House of Dereon, Beyonce plans to launch her junior apparel label, Sasha Fierce for Dereon just in time for back-to-school, reports WWD. The brand’s name, of course, plays off the singer’s on-stage alter ego, and will encompass everything from sportswear to shoes, jewelry and eyewear. And while the main collection includes more simple staple pieces, like a one-shoulder dress, a bodysuit, jackets and jeans, the collection’s accessories, Tina reveals, “are really over the top.” Tell us: Are you looking forward to Beyonce’s “Fierce” line this fall?

Wow..back to school. 520spot.com did a post on this same topic. When I see it on people, sasha fierce is has to be big. Hope to see some ladies out here in Seattle wearing it.

hhhmmm??? a one-shouldered dress??? while i truly admire beyonce and her mom, is this really how young girls/women should be dressing, in high school??

They must have a very strict club attire dress code at high schools nowadays.

there is no way these schools are going to let those girls come dressed in her hoochie mama clothes! it will be showing up in tjmaxx and marshall’s in no time!

Most Middle and High Schools now have a uniform policy – thank God. I don’t know if the House of Dereon clothing line is doing good but I have not seen one piece on that line that looks good. Everything is over the top and cheappy looking.

I don’t think its appropriate for young ladies to go to school dressed like a paid celebrity..They are paid to dress like that..The primary focus should be the education, not the fashion. Too many of our young ladies have the wrong idea of fashion and beauty.. They believe its important to look like the celebrities on TV. I am a fan of Beyonce, but I believe she should revamp the line. Teach the difference between repectful/Tasteful, and Not so respectful/Not Tasteful. Big Name entertainers are exploiting our youth because they look up to them…And who benefits from it…NOT THE YOUTH.
