inset: Flynet

If you have ever thought to yourself that Heidi Klum seems like a living doll, then you and the good folks of Mattel are on the same wavelength. We suspected that a collaboration between the supermodel and the toy company might be in the works when we spotted her front row at the Barbie 50th Anniversary show at Fashion Week, but now we know that there is indeed a Heidi Klum Barbie on its way to stores! The doll is part of Barbie’s Blonde Ambition Collection that features a series of iconic blondes in fashion and entertainment. While the dolls won’t hit shelves until September at BarbieCollector.com, we have a sneak peek of Heidi helping to prep her doll for a shoot — plus the finished result! Demi Moore Twitters Her Fragrance Campaign Launch in Paris

Courtesy of Demi Moore

Ever wondered what a fragrance launch looks like inside? Demi Moore took to her Twitter page last night to keep her fans updated on her newest ad campaign for Helena Rubinstein, which just happened to launch in Paris. Not only did she give major props to the young designer of her feathered dress, “Wonderful young designer to look out for Prabal Gurung!” but she supplied the photos of her inside a van on the way to the event and, of course, the event itself. While Demi is just the face of Helena Rubinstein, she did give all of us hope that her own signature fragrance would be a reality some day, responding to Twitter queries on the topic with “Hopefully soon this one is by Helena Rubinstein.” We love getting an inside sneak peek — thanks, Demi!

Jennifer Lopez Closes Down her Sweetface Clothing Line

JP Yim/WireImage

The recession has already claimed its faire share of celebrity lines from Mandy Moore’s Mblem to Lauren Conrad’s eponymous clothing line going on hiatus, and now WWD is reporting that Jennifer Lopez is following suit and shuttering the doors on her Sweetface line. After six years, Sweetface is halting production after the spring 2009 line, which is in stores now. Sweetface started in 2003 as a urban streetwear spin-off to the JLO by Jennifer Lopez line, but soon became a high end contemporary line. While Sweetface isn’t over forever — the company plans to relaunch with a new vision– no date has been set for its return to stores. But if you are a dedicated J. Lo shopper, you are still in luck — her JLO by Jennifer Lopez line still sells in 40 countries outside of the U.S, and she has six highly successful perfumes with another on the way later this year. Tell us: Are you sad to see Sweetface go?

Nicky Hilton’s Next Fashion Venture — Turning Japanese!

Mike Guastella/WireImage

While her sister Paris’s love life is always busy, Nicky Hilton, who is happily dating David Katzenberg, is spending her summer preparing for her next fashion show, at September’s semiannual Tokyo Girls Collection in Japan. Hilton, who is well known there as a clothing designer, says the island country gives her lots of new ideas. “I think I got inspired in Japan a lot,” Hilton, 25, tells PEOPLE at the 2009 NBA Championship Victory Celebration hosted by the Los Angeles Lakers. “I am launching at Tokyo Girls Collection, which is in an arena with 24,000 people. I have been trying to wrap it up and get the samples set out.” Hilton has had several clothing lines (Chick, Nicholai), designed handbags (Samantha Thavasa), both catering to women in their 20s and early 30s. Part of Hilton’s excitement for the Japan may lie in the show’s unique aesthetics, she says. “The girls, actually, as the models come down the runway, are shopping, buying clothes,” she says of September’s show. “It’s cool.” –Nicholas White

Burn Notice’s Gabrielle Anwar Talks Fashion With Redbook

Courtesy of Redbook

While the Burn Notice beauty looks like she stepped out of a fashion magazine on the silver screen, Gabrielle Anwar’s personal style is a lot more laid back. “Because my character dresses in minis and mile-high heels, it’s important to me that my weekends aren’t necessarily about Jimmy Choos,” she tells Redbook . The actress sits pretty for the magazine’s July issue fashion spread, and between high fashion outfits (and high-wattage smiles), Gabrielle says, “I’m not even sure I have a style! All I know for sure is I don’t want to look like everyone else. I’m very much into the textures of fabric and how it moves on my body.” And when it comes to shopping, you won’t find this actress hitting the local mall. “I shop at a lot of vintage stores because the prices are amazing and I love the idea that there’s a history behind the piece I’m wearing,” she says. We love a bargain-hunting fashionista who can always manage to look stylish. For more on Gabrielle’s style, check out her spread in this month’s Redbook, on newsstands now, which also features Jada Pinkett Smith on the cover.

Olivia Palermo Joins Wilhelmina Modeling Agency!

Not content with just working for famed fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, a rep for Olivia Palermo confirms to PEOPLE that The City star has recently been signed to legendary New York modeling agency Wilhelmina. And she isn’t the first New York “social” to make her way from Page Six to a national campaign. Socialite turned model Lydia Hearst has strutted her stuff on the runways and even landed a spot as a Myla lingerie model. While we don’t anticipate Olivia giving up her front row seat to walk the runways come September, we have a feeling this social is about to take the fashion world head on.
