Britney Spears Goes Brunette: Love It or Hate It?

It’s been awhile since Britney Spears has altered her signature sunny locks. But never one to shy away from change, the pop star stepped out over the weekend showing off longer and much darker hair. While we can’t tell for sure if Britney’s new look is for real or a wig, we think going dark still works for her. Our favorite Britney look is definitely blonde, but everyone needs a change sometimes! Tell us: What do you think of Britney’s new brunette do? Love it or hate it?

New Fragrance Alert: Patrick Dempsey’s Second Act

Just last summer Patrick Dempsey launched his first signature fragrance, Unscripted. And now he’s back, and poised to launch his second masculine scent with Avon this November. Patrick Dempsey 2, WWD reports, will contain notes including mandarin, nutmeg, spiced wood accord and patchouli at a budget-friendly price of $35 for a 2.5-oz. bottle. But what about the name? Patrick explains, “It’s about the intimacy of two people and the strength you get in a relationship. I thought, why don’t we just go with ’2′ and make this about being a couple.” He continues that theme with his advertising campaign, which features the star posed with his wife of ten years, Jillian. Kim Kardashian Trades Leggings For Ripped Jeans

Stars like Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Rihanna and more are embracing summer’s ripped jean trend and Kim Kardashian is no exception. The reality star took to her official website to blog about her new favorite piece of clothing. “Right now, ripped jeans are my absolute favorite thing!” she writes. “I have replaced my leggings look with a ripped jean look!” Kim showed off her new look while out to lunch in L.A. by pairing Bebe jeans with an Elizabeth and James over-sized blouse. Her Bebe jeans weren’t the only thing Kim saved on — she boasts that she scored her studded Louboutin booties for 60% off! And while Kim can have her pick of any designer jeans, the star says she is loving Bebe. “They are my new favorite jeans! They fit me so good!” she blogs. We are loving the ripped jeans look and are happy to see them replacing leggings. Tell us: Have you traded your leggings for ripped jeans?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Launches NFL Maternity Line With Reebok

Football fan Elisabeth Hasselbeck isn’t letting pregnancy get in the way of her love of the game. Reebok has announced today that they’ve drafted The View host to be the face of a new line of NFL football jerseys — designed specifically for pregnant women. “The NFL has a tremendous amount of female fans,” Elisabeth tells WWD. “Watching a game can be a real family bonding experience, and I can tell you that the women behind the games are truly the most intense of the fans.” The $15 to $17.50 shirts will launch during the fall 2010 football and feature sayings like “#1 Draft pick” and “Kicker” across the belly. As for why Reebok decided to launch the line, Reebok’s NFL women’s product manager explains to WWD, “we realized how women were buying the product, but then we were ignoring them for nine months while they were pregnant,” of the sports fans who often had to purchase men’s shirt to accommodate their growing bumps.
