This actually makes her look less gaunt than she normally does, and plays up her eyes. It’s sort of a Marlene Dietrich look.

They definitely made her look BETTER.

Yikes, Madonna has lost her wrinkles! They sure have ironed all those creases. For that Louis Vuitton should have hired a younger celebrity. Or is that a wax figure of Madonna. Madonna only wishes she looked that good. Sorry girl, you’re used and re-used. Boo hoo.

It’s a Man Ray effect, plus the makeup, photoshop, etc. It’s to mimic old Hollywood photos, which were excessively retouched and manipulated. Not just about Madonna needing to look younger. Still don’t get why this look and model are expected to sell the merch.

She looks like a Barbie – and not in a good way – in a plastic and fake way.

Is that an olive in her hair?

With all the photoshopping they did, why did they even need her there for the shoot? Give me a flippen break. She’s 50. If she’s not proud of being 50 then she shouldn’t do photo shoots. Hollywood is so phoney.

How can she claim to be a vegetarian but promote leather?

I love Madonna, have been a fan since the beginning and I think the photo is great but I agree that they probably used a lot of makeup and airbrushing/photoshop to make her look so much younger. I wonder if she has any say-so in what they do to/with the photos. If I were in that situation I wouldn’t want to be made to look so young. It just makes you look worse and a lot older when people see you in real life and/or other situations. She’s accomplished a lot in her lifetime and should be proud of her age. If they have something against older people (that have money and buy their products), then just get younger models.

You guys obviously do not know anything about fashion or photography, therefore making you unqualified for critique. Nevertheless, I believe lighting and makeup can only enhance what you already have. How many of you ladies can say that when you put on make-up and take pictures, you look half as good as she does? And she’s 50! Jealousy is an ungly thing.

I like Madonna’s natural face. She’s taken years of abuse from a lot of critics and paved the way for many women in entertainment. I don’t even recognize my warrior.
