Britney Spears Goes Brunette: Love It or Hate It?

It’s been awhile since Britney Spears has altered her signature sunny locks. But never one to shy away from change, the pop star stepped out over the weekend showing off longer and much darker hair. While we can’t tell for sure if Britney’s new look is for real or a wig, we think going dark still works for her. Our favorite Britney look is definitely blonde, but everyone needs a change sometimes! Tell us: What do you think of Britney’s new brunette do? Love it or hate it?

Having been a blonde turned brunette, I like the change. Granted I liked her better as a blonde, but the change is not bad and suits her just as well. I am wondering how long her hair really is after the shaved head thing.

I neither love it nor hate it, I simply recall that when Britney first changed from blonde to brown many years ago, that was about the time that the cracks in her mental fragility began to show. I just hope that this is not the beginning of another round of a mental break.

I think that she looks wonderful. She looks genuinely happy and has made huge steps in the right direction! Mental illness is very disturbing to witness, but it is an even bigger nightmare to live… I am so happy that Britney got the help that she so needed. Instead of ridiculing her and making fun of her, we should try to be more understanding of what she has gone through… walk a mile in her shoes.

Was she able to make the decision herself or did dad make it for her? She has no rights, dad and CA court system made sure to strip her of all her rights, I doubt she made the decision herself. She is just a money making machine coerced by dad, docs and CA court system to do whatever they want.

We get it, everyone loves Britney as a blonde. I love Britney changing to her natural color. My thing is that it’s just too dark. In my opinion, a light or medium golden brown (golden because she was blonde as a toddler) – something close to her natural shade of brown would’ve done the brunette look a lot more justice.

Again, my opinion, dark shades (i.e. dark brown, black) don’t suit her 100%. Medium or warmer shades of brown would flatter her much better.

I like the brown up top, but the black streaks kind of kill the look to me.

i like the hair color she had in 1998. she should go with that shade, the very light brown shade. britney didnt look too good with too blonde of a hair color, nor does she look too good with too dark of a brown hair color.

also they hair style she has makes all the difference in how the hair color will look. a bad hair style choice, and it doesnt matter what color she uses it will still look horrible (but a hair color that she already looks bad in will make it even uglier actually).

Apparently some people don’t remember that Britney is a natural brunette. She is not a natural blonde. I think her hair looks nice both blonde and brunette.

i think blond is better because we all know her as the blond legend :) i hope she will get blond again :) but brown is also a good colour for her – she looks great – no matter if it’s blond or brown :)
