SNEAK PEEK: Heidi Klum Becomes a Barbie!

If you have ever thought to yourself that Heidi Klum seems like a living doll, then you and the good folks of Mattel are on the same wavelength. We suspected that a collaboration between the supermodel and the toy company might be in the works when we spotted her front row at the Barbie 50th Anniversary show at Fashion Week, but now we know that there is indeed a Heidi Klum Barbie on its way to stores! The doll is part of Barbie’s Blonde Ambition Collection that features a series of iconic blondes in fashion and entertainment. While the dolls won’t hit shelves until September at BarbieCollector.com, we have a sneak peek of Heidi helping to prep her doll for a shoot — plus the finished result! Turing Heidi into a barbie is a cute idea and the babie face is cute. But look at the babbies legs. They are WAY to skinny! It is just going to encourage girls to want legs liek that ant to become anorexic.

Melissa, I agree with you that the Heidi Barbie’s legs are too skinny. However, I don’t think you can consider ANY of the Barbies from the last 50 years to be anatomically proportionate.
