Burn Notice's Gabrielle Anwar Talks Fashion With Redbook

While the Burn Notice beauty looks like she stepped out of a fashion magazine on the silver screen, Gabrielle Anwar’s personal style is a lot more laid back. “Because my character dresses in minis and mile-high heels, it’s important to me that my weekends aren’t necessarily about Jimmy Choos,” she tells Redbook . The actress sits pretty for the magazine’s July issue fashion spread, and between high fashion outfits (and high-wattage smiles), Gabrielle says, “I’m not even sure I have a style! All I know for sure is I don’t want to look like everyone else. I’m very much into the textures of fabric and how it moves on my body.” And when it comes to shopping, you won’t find this actress hitting the local mall. “I shop at a lot of vintage stores because the prices are amazing and I love the idea that there’s a history behind the piece I’m wearing,” she says. We love a bargain-hunting fashionista who can always manage to look stylish. I believe that avoiding refined foods may be the first step so that you can lose weight.
