Hayden Christensen’s New “Challenge”: Face of Lacoste Fragrance

Make a little room Josh Hartnett, James Franco and Justin Timberlake — there’s a new celebrity fragrance model on the rise. Lacoste has just announced that Hayden Christensen will be the face of their new scent, Challenge. And PEOPLE.com has a first look at the star’s sporty campaign. The altar-bound actor, who is engaged to Rachel Bilson, embodies the brand’s preppy spirit for the men’s fragrance which will launch in August. Check back for more details as they come in. I don’t like this ad at all. It looks really 80′s or something to me.
It also doesn’t showcase him very well. This could be anyone if you ask me.

A Classic look or corny? He would fit right in a Saved By the Bell episode. Maybe this is in again… I saw teenage girls in the mall in leg warmers, so maybe I’m just getting old…

He’s super hot, but the add is a bit weird. Not to mention his eyes are not actually that blue…it’s obviously retouched. His eyes look almost unatural.
