Designers Go Khaki for the Gap!

As if we weren’t excited enough to see who wears what and who wins big at tonight’s CFDA awards in N.Y.C., we also have the newest Gap collaboration with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners launching tomorrow. For the past two years, designers like Phillip Lim and Band of Outsiders have put their own distinct spin on the white shirt, but this year, it’s all about reinterpreting the iconic khakis. Albertus Swanepoel, Alexander Wang, and Vena Cava’s Lisa Mayock & Sophie Buhai have put their own hip spins on the classic style, with designs ranging from Wang’s motorcycle jacket to Vena Cava’s printed dresses to Swanepoel’s hats. The designs go on sale tomorrow online at gap.com, and if you are in N.Y.C., you can even meet the designers themselves at the 5th Ave. flagship store tomorrow morning!
