Emma Watson is The New Face of Burberry

What could be more British than Burberry, and what young British actress could be hotter right now? It’s a match made in style heaven to have Harry Potter star and fashionista Emma Watson be the new face of the Burberry fall ad campaign, especially to hear creative director Christopher Bailey tell it. “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge,” says Bailey. And having a 19-year old front the brand also brings a dash of fun and youth, even to the shoot by Mario Testino itself. Bailey reveals, “Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.” But even with her youth and fame, the campaign is meant to reflect the classic side of Burberry and its long history. Bailey explains, “I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand whilst at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today.” We think Emma looks gorgeous and we can’t wait to see the whole campaign when it rolls out this fall. Tell us: What do you think of Emma as the face of Burberry?

I don’t know much about the Brand, or how they usually premote it, but can definitely say that Emma Watson is doing a terrific job.
She looks like a real model, I’d have never thought she could look so stunning.
I’m sold.

Burberry is a horrible company that sticks poles up their animals rectums, killing them. and, if the posion dosn’t work, the animal will wake up when it is being skinned. Emma Watson should not be endorsing this sadastic company, and should instead be more focused on companys that do not brutally murder animals.

Why didn’t burberry hire a 40 year old woman? Majority of 19 year olds cannot afford this brand. Working women buy this brand…not 19 year olds.

That’s the best I’ve ever seen her look. The make-up and keeping that large forehead covered, very good. Nice photo.
