Penn Badgley’s New Beard: Love It or Hate it?

Spotted: Penn Badgley sporting some major new facial hair growth. The Gossip Girl star (and real-life boyfriend to costar Blake Lively) is saying good-bye to his clean-shaven baby face and adding some serious facial hair that borders on a beard. Could this be Dan’s new grown-up college look? Or is Penn just taking a more relaxed approach to his personal grooming these days while on hiatus from the CW show? I think the beard makes his face look a little chubby… So I really don’t like the beard.. I wish he would grow his hair back out like it was in John Tucker Must Die.. I thought he looked his sexiest then…

I’m not really a fan in any way, I mean, he is a good looking guy, but not my thing. Anyways, that isn’t a very good picture of him with the facial hair to begin with, I’ve seen another photo that actually looked pretty good. I think it’s alright.

I don’t think that’ll be Dan’s new college look. Penn’s just probably letting it grow for the time being since once they start filming, he has to shave it off again. :) I like the clean shaven look more. :D
