Sex and the City‘s Miranda ended the the show’s six-season run with a lesson in the real meaning of love — and it looks like her character’s charitable spirit hit home with Cynthia Nixon, who has just announced that she is teaming up with Curel for the second time, to launch the “Share the Gift of Caring” campaign to benefit the Red Cross. Curel has already donated $250,000 to the initiative, which raises money to help victims of disasters in this country and around the world. And with you’re help they plan to raise $10,000 more — on their dime. Just click the “Donate $1″ button at Curel.com, and pass the message of the campaign along to a caring friend, and the beauty brand will donate a buck to the cause. Get more information on the Curel website or on the limited-edition bottles Continuous Comfort Original Formula Lotion, which honors the fundraiser.

I think his reaction is weird. Maybe it is paolticil and he does not wants to snub Obama but that seems really shallow and not patriotic so it is hard to fathom that GW would put party above people on this important of a moment does not ring right. But it does feel like a snub to those families. Then again, maybe Bush is disgusted by people like Mrs. Palin who refuse to give Obama credit. I know he does not like her to begin with. Maybe Bush wants to gibe all the honor to Obama. By standing down he is showing a kind of tribute to the current Commander and Chief.
