Jessica Szohr and Dove Reveal Real-Life Gossip Girls

Craig Blankenhorn

As if she’s not busy enough with her starring role in Gossip Girl — and off-screen romance with costar Ed Westwick — Jessica Szohr is teaming up with Dove to host a series of mini-episodes that take you into a real-life version of those stylish young New Yorkers who inspired the show. GOSSIP GIRL: Real NYC Stories Revealed, part of Dove’s go fresh campaign, will feature “inspirational stories from four real girls who have grown up on the Upper East Side of New York City,” and how they deal with careers, finances, success and relationships. And one added bonus of her newest role, she points out, is getting to try out all Dove’s newest products. Her favorite? “Dove go fresh Burst Body Wash because it’s so important for me to start my day off right.” Overall, Jessica’s beauty philosophy falls in line with the Real Beauty concept that drew her to partner with Dove. “Less is certainly more when it comes to makeup for me,” she says. “When I am not working, I usually just rely on clean skin, soft skin then stick to the basics — foundation, powder and a great mascara.” But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how to get glam. “I love Nars lip glosses,” she says, and “Stila Smudge pots do amazing things for your eyes.” Be sure to tune in on Monday to see Jessica’s teaser for GOSSIP GIRL: Real NYC Stories Revealed then stick around after the show on the 27th to see how Dove’s real Gossip Girls compare the show’s on-screen characters.

Stefanie Keenan/WireImage

Eco-conscious fashionistas like Kristen Bell, Camila Alves, Jaime Pressly, Anna Paquin and Elizabeth Banks came out last night get a sneak peek at Target’s newest designer collaboration: Loomstate for Target. And while the collection won’t officially hit stores until the end of this week, the stars where happy to be among the first to peruse the casual summer line of organic looks for men and women at an exclusive shopping event in Venice, CA. Some celebs, like Bell, who walked away with two bags of goodies, were already Loomstate fans. “I love their fun animal prints and I love casual clothes,” the actress told PEOPLE.com. “Plus, their cotton tends to be very soft, so I’m looking forward to getting a whole bunch of jammies.” Others, like Banks and Pressly, were new to the eco-chic brand, created by designers Scott MacKinlay Hahn and Rogan Gregory. “This is the first time I’m seeing it — and I’m in love already,” Banks enthused. For Pressly, it was another way to go green: “Since I’ve become a mother I’ve really tried to do as much as I can to save the environment and prolong this beautiful earth for my son.” Check out the collection for yourself when it hits Target stores and Target.com on the 19th. –Shruti Dhalwala

REPORT: Emma Watson To Be The New Face Of Burberry

PA Photos/Landov

Is Emma Watson ditching Hermione’s school uniform for some much more fashionable frocks? WWD is reporting that the Harry Potter actress has reportedly been signed up to star as the new face of Burberry’s ad campaign. It would be a fashionably appropriate move for the actress (who turned 19 today) as she has been a huge fan of the quintessentially British label since wearing it on the cover of Teen Vogue back in 2005 and has often donned a little Burberry Prorsum when the occasion demands it. A Burberry spokesman remained tight lipped about the campaign, telling PEOPLE: “The campaign is not yet finalised and once it is we don’t release any information until the official launch time, which would be around June of this year.” The actress has been busy making fashionable waves during her gap year, having starred in a 20-page fashion feature in Vogue Italy and attending fashion shows in Paris and London. Check back for more on the campaign as details are revealed. –Monique Jessen
