She may be one of music’s biggest fashion risk-takers, but when it comes to sex, Solange Knowles is all about playing it safe. The singer has joined forces with MTV and beauty brand The Body Shop to spread the word about HIV/AIDS prevention, kicking off her new gig by turning out in N.Y.C. yesterday to promote the launch of yestosafesex.com. The interactive MTV-designed website encourages visitors to pledge their dedication to safer sex practices — and lets them enter to win gift bags stuffed with goodies from The Body Shop and MTV. Want another way to support the cause? The Body Shop is making it easy to put your money where your mouth is, with their new Yes, Yes, Yes! lip butter. Approximately $5 of the $8 purchase price will be donated to the Staying Alive Foundation to help raise world-wide awareness about preventing HIV and AIDS.

Eco-conscious fashionistas like Kristen Bell, Camila Alves, Jaime Pressly, Anna Paquin and Elizabeth Banks came out last night get a sneak peek at Target’s newest designer collaboration: Loomstate for Target. And while the collection won’t officially hit stores until the end of this week, the stars where happy to be among the first to peruse the casual summer line of organic looks for men and women at an exclusive shopping event in Venice, CA. Some celebs, like Bell, who walked away with two bags of goodies, were already Loomstate fans. “I love their fun animal prints and I love casual clothes,” the actress told PEOPLE.com. “Plus, their cotton tends to be very soft, so I’m looking forward to getting a whole bunch of jammies.” Others, like Banks and Pressly, were new to the eco-chic brand, created by designers Scott MacKinlay Hahn and Rogan Gregory. “This is the first time I’m seeing it — and I’m in love already,” Banks enthused. For Pressly, it was another way to go green: “Since I’ve become a mother I’ve really tried to do as much as I can to save the environment and prolong this beautiful earth for my son.” Check out the collection for yourself when it hits Target stores and Target.com on the 19th. –Shruti Dhalwala

REPORT: Emma Watson To Be The New Face Of Burberry

PA Photos/Landov

Is Emma Watson ditching Hermione’s school uniform for some much more fashionable frocks? WWD is reporting that the Harry Potter actress has reportedly been signed up to star as the new face of Burberry’s ad campaign. It would be a fashionably appropriate move for the actress (who turned 19 today) as she has been a huge fan of the quintessentially British label since wearing it on the cover of Teen Vogue back in 2005 and has often donned a little Burberry Prorsum when the occasion demands it. A Burberry spokesman remained tight lipped about the campaign, telling PEOPLE: “The campaign is not yet finalised and once it is we don’t release any information until the official launch time, which would be around June of this year.” The actress has been busy making fashionable waves during her gap year, having starred in a 20-page fashion feature in Vogue Italy and attending fashion shows in Paris and London. Check back for more on the campaign as details are revealed. –Monique Jessen
