Gwyneth and More Get Charitable Designing for Lilly Pulitzer

She may be about to launch her first clothing line, but Gwyneth Paltrow has another fashion project in the works — and it’s all for a good cause. The actress has designed a limited-edition bikini for Palm-Beach-preppy retailer Lilly Pulitzer’s A Colorful Cause: Celebrity Designer Program, which honors the label’s 50th anniversary by supporting The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation. And Gwyneth’s not alone in lending her design talents to the cause. Eight other stars, including Brooke Shields, Debra Messing, Marcia Cross, Angie Harmon, Bridget Moynahan, Catherine Bell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilson, have also signed on to create limited-edition mommy-and-me looks — for both daughters and sons — in iconic Lilly Pulitzer prints. The clothes will be available for purchase in April at Lilly Pulitzer stores across the country and online at lillypulitzer.com. Gwyneth Paltrow and Lily Pulitzer? When did she turn into such a suburban mom type?
