Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the most over rated
“celebrity” types. I have to wonder about anybody who makes it a point to not be seen in public with their spouse.That’s weird. I think that it is hysterical when people question her pontifications, she replied that her critics just don’t “get it”. Oh and she DOES? She has no clue what it’s like to not be rich and pampered like the rest of the planet! She needs to rear her children and quit trying to tell others how to live their lives. What a snob.

I just love Gwen and her spirit and her family and she always does look so classic or down to earth and her sensibility artistically is so simple and healthy ….Curious to see her work. She has been in the fashion world and good to be productive so glad she can do it. Probably had incredible mentoring.

To all the Gwyneth haters…could you design clothes that every woman would want to wear? Everyone has a different sense of style and just because you don’t like her style, it doesn’t mean that everyone else will hate it too. Also did you all not pay attention to the last line of the article which states that all proceeds are going to charity? How pretentious is that? How much do you donate to charity? Also, to those of you who hate GP so much, why read an article about her in the first place?

OK, I’m just wondering here…Gwenyth Paltrow usually goes around looking slightly better dressed than a lot of street people, and people can’t wait to buy her high-priced clothes. 3 days ago people were jumping all over Elisabeth Hasselbeck for designing clothes apparently just because she was a Republican. I don’t care if someone is a Liberal or Conservative when it comes to clothes design, but EH took heat as if she started WW3 for making $30 shirts which were very wearable, and GP is being lauded like a saint for clothes most of us aren’t going to be able to afford at all, much less wear. What am I missing here? I’m not trying to be hateful, I just don’t get it.

Absolutely. Yes I would. Her style is clean and simple BUT interesting and fresh. Reminds me of Scandinavian design, Danish stylish.
Tilda Swinton & Erykah Badu have also great, inspiring visions.

She’s really pretty, but I think her stylist is on major drugs. She’s always wearing some ridiculous wacky outfit!

The description of the clothes makes them sound wonderful — who doesn’t love “draped evening dresses” and “vintage look sweatshirts”? I’m especially crazy about the idea of recycled cotton basics — we all buy that stuff anyway; why not make it good for the earth? So glad to hear some of the money will be going to charity too. This seems like a win-win. Which stores will carry these pieces?
