Would You Wear Boyfriend Shorts Like Taylor?

Taylor Momsen’s character on Gossip Girl, Jenny Humphrey, is no stranger to unique fashion choices – from her plaid skirt with neon pink tulle to her intense daytime smoky eye. So we weren’t surprised when we saw her making another bold fashion statement on set with the new, summer-friendly version of the boyfriend jean — the boyfriend short. This new trend looks ultra-comfortable, and paired with a leather vest and chic ankle boots, the look certainly works for her edgy style. But we’re not sure how we feel about the trend for ourselves — like many things on Gossip Girl, it might be a little out of our reach. I LOVE the boyfriend jean… so I am so excited to see the boyfriend shorts for those sunny days coming up! Now I just need to find a great pair to purchase. Anyone have any suggestions?

Those are the Alexander Wang denim shorts from last summer, everyone in New York has those. I wore them over tights for winter. They are a great piece!

Oh, yes! Those are so cool! I loved the boyfriennd jean (and have been rolling them into capris because of the warmer weather! LOL) So I’m glad to see the summer version! I hope AE will carry them!
