No way, Katie. Sweet short hair made you stand out, made you an icon. The long fake shag makes you look like everyone else. It doesn’t make you look younger, it makes you look dumber. People who think that your short hair looked “older” are obviously mindless suckers to the Cult Of Youth, afraid that a woman might look like an intelligent, sexy, and confident human being. Those who want your hair long are the ones who want you to “look pretty”, not “be beautiful”.

Get that ratty rug out of the way of your sparkling eyes, clear that dangling shag off your shoulders, and flaunt your fine, slender neckbones. Be smart, stay short.

A wise move on her part, the extra length is much more hollywood glam. I never liked the bob, it was like she was too tired to have hair after the kids so she had it cut off.
