Fergie Gets Charitable With M.A.C.’s Viva Glam Lipstick Launch

L.A.’s famed Robertson Boulevard got just a little more glamorous yesterday, as M.A.C.’s Viva Glam spokesperson, Fergie, turned up at the flagship store to unveil a much-anticipated new shade, Viva Glam VI. And it was all for a good cause. Just like past Viva Glam shades, 100% of proceeds of the full selling price goes directly to AIDS charities. PEOPLE.com chatted with the singer who dished about her part in developing the new hue. “They brought about 10 different shades and laid them out and let me pick,” she said of the light, shimmer color. “It was important for me to find a shade that looked good on all skin tones — day and night,” she said. “And I love pink!” The singer also stopped by Project Angel Food, a Viva Glam beneficiary, which provides free meals for those living with HIV/AIDS. “This is something that I like doing because it’s not just about me,” she said of the charity aspect of her ambassadorship. “It’s about people and I get to meet their families and hear their true stories. It’s for real and these people are really doing the charity work and putting care into what they’re doing,” she says. You can help support the cause — and look gorgeous doing it — when you purchase the new Viva Glam VI shade at maccosmetics.com starting March 19 or one of the other dazzling hues now. — Reported by Jessica Herndon

Pamela Anderson Hits the Paris Runway For Vivienne Westwood

Dominique Charriau/WireImage

Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson left the sandy beaches of California behind and strutted her stuff on the Parisian catwalk in Vivienne Westwood’s ready-to-wear show today. The actress, who is the face of Westwood’s current campaign, showed off three very different looks from the designer’s collection — one even had what appeared to be angel’s wings! — before taking a final bow with Westwood herself. While we can’t imagine Pam wearing the long, figure-hiding black skirt off the catwalk, we can totally see her rocking the short-shorts, knee socks and T-shirt look. Tell us: What do you think of Pam’s Vivienne Westwood runway debut?

Oprah Shares the Cover of O With Michelle Obama

Courtesy O Magazine

For the first time in its nine year existence, O, The Oprah Magazine will feature a cover model other than just Oprah Winfrey herself. For its April issue, the talk-show host will share the spotlight with First Lady Michelle Obama, who sits down in her new home — the White House — and gets candid with the media mogul. In the issue, which will hit newsstands on March 17, Michelle talks frankly about decorating the White House, keeping up with friends, her daughters and more. We applaud Michelle’s consistency in wearing American designers– even on magazine covers. The First Lady wore a Tracy Reese dress on the cover of PEOPLE just last week! And for her Oprah cover, she appears clad in an orange Michael Kors sheath and Dream Cashmere cardigan. And she isn’t stopping with fashion. Michelle tells Oprah she will look to American artists when decorating the White House. “I want art that reflects contemporary and traditional, I want to bring in new American artisans,” she says. EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK: Cheryl Burke’s Fitness Clothing Line

Courtesy Fit Couture

Even if you can’t dance with the stars, you now have the chance to look like one. This Monday, two-time Dancing champ Cheryl Burke‘s new line of fitness wear, Cheryl Burke by Fit Couture, will become available to consumers — and PEOPLE.com has an exclusive first look. “I’ve always wanted to start my clothing line,” Burke tells PEOPLE. “I’m so into being comfortable, and these pieces are just that.” And Cheryl made sure she brought along her years of pro dance experience when creating the gear. “I like to wear layers — pants, tank tops, jackets — when I work out. These pieces move with you. The shirts are extra long so they don’t ride up and the pants have a fold-over waistband that feels snug but not restricting.” Best of all, enthuses Burke, “the fitted jacket with the turn-up collars and cuffs adds a nice flair so you can look cute while you’re working out!” Prices will range from $46-85 for items in the line, which will be available exclusively at fitcouture.com beginning March 9th. – Monica Rizzo
