Is Lourdes Inspired by SJP’s Style?

At 12, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Ciccone Leon is already a budding fashionista. Like her mother, the tween has shown a flair for eye-catching ensembles — and loves a vintage look. Spotted in the Big Apple just last month the teen was sporting these familiar oversized glasses. Lourdes’ ensemble seemed to us like a true blast from the — televised — past: Doesn’t she resemble Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Patty Greene from 1982’s shortlived series Square Pegs? Call it geek chic, or just plain cool, but could Madonna’s daughter be inspired by one of fashion’s most playful characters, SJP herself? — By Liz McNeil

Yep, she’s wearing glasses. Clearly Lourdes is a Doppelgänger for SJP. There’s no other explanation.

The picture that appeared on my computer is SJP. Lourdes has on a pink outfit. SJP is certainly NOT that attractive, but seems to be popular. Lourdes actually isn’t that bad looking.

Ugh, I had glasses like those when I was a kid, as they really didn’t have small glasses back then. By the time they started offering smaller glasses frames, I already had contacts.

Why would someone CHOOSE to wear such ugly glasses that cover your whole face? I was always embarrassed to wear them.

80’s fashion is NOT fashionable.

OMG leave the girl alone! She is a young lady trying to make her mark in life. She is showing her individuality and has every right to do so. For the record, she is a beautiful girl. She has delicate facial features that set her apart from all the rest.
