It’s been 20 years since star-loved design house Badgley Mischka launched their brand. And founders Mark Badgley and James Mischka are celebrating the anniversary with an aptly star-studded ad campaign, shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz. Images won’t appear in magazines until April, but we’re bringing you a sneak peek at the campaign, which gathers together Eva Longoria Parker, Carrie Underwood, Brooke Shields, Lauren Hutton and Anjelica Huston. So how do the women feel about taking part in the celebration? Underwood sums it up; “I love Badgley Mischka for not only making the most beautiful gowns,” she says in a statement, “but also for bringing together such strong, amazing women to celebrate 20 years of glamour and fashion. I am thrilled to be part of their special anniversary.” Tell us: What do you think of the campaign?

Fantastic! Brilliant! I love every dress and every lady in the ad! Congrats to the designers for a brilliant campaign. I am in love with Carrie Underwood’s dress. That color is incredible on her. I also love the red gown on Lauren Hutton, and Eva looks amazing too. Brooke is elegant as always, and Angelica Houston has still got it. Wow. Lovely.

Very elegant!

CONGRATS…..this is amazing. The ad may not sell dresses but it sells style and should give the Brand a boost in these hard economic times.

What is Carrie Underwood doing in there with the rest of them? I don’t get it. Isn’t she from reality tv? The others are major mega stars.

carrie is a major star, has 4 grammys, 12 millions cds sold, entertainer of the year nomination, 6 female vocalist awards, lots of magazine covers, a mega successful tour.

Although you can make the “Carrie Underwood is a reality tv star” argument, you can not deny the girl has way moved past the AI cycle. She is an undeniable force winning grammys, country music awards, and joining the grand ole opry. She also happens to frequently visit best dressed lists in the Badgely Mischka attire.

It would be nice to see a beautiful women of color in the ad.

In response to Someone’s comment–where have you been hiding…Carrie Underwood may have come from from a “reality tv show” BUT SHE IS HUGE!!!! in fact she is the most celebrated artist to come out of that show. Obviously you dont follow Country Music or you would know who she is. She belongs there just as much as the others do. She is beautiful and a respected artist. Way to go Carrie!!

Joan

Perfect styles, fit and colors for each woman. Very elegant photo spread.
