Would You Crimp Your Hair?

Jill Johnson/JPI

There are some trends that just won’t go away! Simon Cowell’s former girlfriend Terri Seymour seems to be staging a one-woman revival of an unlikely candidate: ’80s-inspired crimped hair. StyleWatch can’t decide if we love the look — or think it falls flat. Tell us:

I LIKE CRIMPED HAIR… BUT HER CRIMPED HAIR IS LOOKS TERRIBLE!!

Julie

I completely agree with Crystal! There was lots of really cute crimped hair (in ponytails!) on the runway last week, but this style has got to go! Check out my Fashion Week coverage on http://www.iheartheels.com.

Never crimping my hair again, even if everyone else is doing it. It did not look good on me in 8th grade and I have no reason to believe it would look good now. I have yet to see it really flatter anyone, in fact.

she looks stupid

I would not crimp my hair so severe like Terri, but I would maybe have one or two, very subtle strands.. I think it adds a little something, but this is just not very often, and she looks ridiculous.

What’s on her head? It looks like tar that was electrocuted.

I love it. She looks beautiful. She gives it a different look.

Oh my goodness, this is a horrible hairstyle! Who even came up with this one! I rather curl it instead of having this look!

Angela

Crimping is a fun look but I am afraid it is a little to Egyptain-esqe for Terri. Crimping is more of a thing to do with pieces of your hair and keeping other parts straight and its also more of a night club style not a day look.

Carelle

It looks like an old Egyptian wig.
