Instead of bashing what SJP does or doesn’t look like, I’m going to answer the question…

Totally have cut back on extras or even needed clothing items for that matter. Going to have to say more like SJP then Carrie regarding the recession. It sucks but it forces you to be creative with your old clothes…great time to reinvent.

Props to SJP recoginizing what’s going on in the “real world”. I understand celeberties are part of the real world but it’s a lot easier for them to turn a blind eye when their more than likely raking a good amount of $$ in.

Lori, not to be rude, but she her quote said “I can’t imagine going shopping” not “I can’t imagine not going shopping.” She’s agreeing that with these tough times, and people losing jobs all around her, she’s not running store to store and shopping up a storm, like Carrie would.
I think she’s tough sometimes in interviews, but for the most part, she’s had a blessed life after living on welfare as a child and knows how lucky she is. The partner with the issue is her husband who’s constantly battling with his wife’s success and his lack of it…
