Not only did Rachel Bilson take a front-row seat at pal Brian Reyes’s show during N.Y.C. Fashion Week last Thursday, but she’s his best model on the streets of Los Angeles this week! The newly-engaged actress wore not one but three of Brian’s tops this week. First, she wore out his gray T-shirt with black layers, switching to his white T-shirt with Helmut Lang jeans the next day. She just keep going pairing her Brian Reyes marble-print top with a black vest and wide-leg pants. We’re loving her accessories too — check out her red Miu Miu purse and her green Chloe chain strap. No wonder Rachel is one of our favorites for her off-duty style savvy. Buy a Brian Reyes T-shirt for yourself at shopbop.com, $240.

Michelle Obama’s Right to Bare Arms

Ron Edmonds/AP

It may be February and freezing, but Michelle Obama is heating up D.C. with her toned arms — often bared and on display in the First Lady’s fearless fashion choices. From the Inaugural Ball, where Obama showed off her shoulders and arms in a Jason Wu strapless gown, to the pink Tracy Reese frock she chose for her PEOPLE cover, her lean limbs are what everyone is buzzing about. But don’t think they come that easily. Her workout regimen includes cardio, calisthenics and weights, she told PEOPLE when she was on the campaign trail in 2007, and don’t forget good old-fashioned pushups. “It’s jump squats, you go down into a pushup then you jump up,” she said then about her routine. “What does [my trainer] call it? Squat thrusts! That’s the one I really hate. Squat thrusts with a pushup.” Celebrity trainer Elisa Gulan said not only push-ups, but probably light weights and heavy repetition helped sculpt her arms. “She has amazing tone and definition, but her arms are also sleek and streamlined,” said Gulan, whose clients include actress Becky Newton and host Terry Seymour. “You don’t get arms like that just from being on a diet.” And how does the American public feel about her predilection for sleeveless dresses? In a USA Today poll, 2,600 readers weighed in on whether it’s appropriate for the First Lady to go sleeveless so often. Forty percent said, “Yes, she’s a modern first lady,” 11 percent said, “No, it seems too informal.” The remaining 49 percent said, “Who cares [DASH] it’s her decision.” After all, voters did choose change in November! – Additional reporting by Sandra Sobieraj Westfall

SNEAK PEEK: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Launch Men’s For Elizabeth and James

Courtesy L’Koral Industries; Dave M. Benett/Getty (inset)

Just a few weeks after announcing a men’s collection for their high-end line The Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are gearing up to launch menswear under their Elizabeth and James line for fall! “We knew eventually there would be a guy, James,” Ashley tells WWD. While the contemporary womenswear line already teeters on the feminine-masculine line, the menswear collection, says Ashley is “about balancing uptown and downtown.” But, continues Mary-Kate, “That’s not literal, it’s just a reference to fabrics and risks that people are willing to take in the way they dress.” The designing duo took inspiration from Oliver Twist and Peter Pan’s Lost Boys for their first Elizabeth and James men’s collection, which will launch at Barneys this fall with prices leaning higher than the womenswear line. With shoes launching around the same time, and jewelry already on the shelves, we wonder what’s next for the Olsen design team. Handbags? Please!

Chloe Sevigny’s Unisex Designs Debut At London Fashion Week

Sean Cunningham

Sienna Miller wasn’t the only star power showing off her design skills at London Fashion Week Big Love‘s Chloe Sevigny also debuted her second collection for Opening Ceremony. The new line, Chloe tells WWD, is a “slight homage” to one of her favorite designers, Miguel Adrover, with dashes of “gay lumberjack,” James Dean, preppy New England and English punk. This unisex line marks Chloe’s first foray into menswear. “There’s much less pressure doing men’s, and because this collection is unisex and oversized, I felt like I could have more fun,” she tells WWD. Long cardigans, leopard-print, thermals, Fair Isle and skinny trousers were just some of the designs that made up the collection. Chloe’s Opening Ceremony line is priced from $95 for a fringed scarf to $945 for an overcoat and is sold at Opening Ceremony stores in New York and Los Angeles as well as at Barney’s, Colette and Dover Street Market. While Chloe has no intention of leaving acting for fashion she does want to spread her creative wings. “Maybe I’d do a very small collection for one of the big luxury brands,” she tells the fashion publication. Courtesy Giuseppe Zanotti; Frank Micelotta/BS/Getty

Britney Spears never ceases to amaze with her scandalous stage and video wardrobes– and her new video for “If You Seek Amy” is no exception. There might not be any pythons–alive or print–but there promises to be just as much skin as that infamous VMA performance. BritneySpears.com caught up with the singer’s wardrobe stylist Dave Thomas and got the scoop on her look. For her new video, the pop princess will be showing off two very different sides of sexy. The first will be a country club housewife inspired look that includes a pink Lacoste polo shirt and white tennis skirt, complete with a sweater tied around her shoulders and patent Giuseppe Zanotti Design platform heels. For her second look, Britney brings out her inner bad girl in a pair of shiny American Apparel leggings and cut-out corset. The leggings are even snipped to reveal peeks of skin up the side of her leg! We can’t wait to see Britney’s new video. Check out BritneySpears.com for more scoop.

Kevin Federline Gets Frugal –About Kids’ Clothes!

It’s not all partying in Las Vegas for Britney Spears’s ex. Kevin Federline hit the party town to take in the Project fashion trade show hoping to gain some inspiration for a children’s clothing line he is planning on launching. “I’m trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans,” he tells WWD. “You buy your kids a pair of True Religions then they roll around in the dirt like kids do and a $200 pair of jeans is gone. With this economy, I’m looking to do something much more reasonable.” He does have a point. We hope to see Jayden James and Sean Preston trying out their daddy’s design soon.
