Braving Washington’s winter weather, Hollywood’s hottest stars are bundling up to support Barack Obama. What’s one thing Jennifer Lopez plans to wear Inauguration Day? “Ear muffs,” the Marchesa-clad star told reporters at the Latino Inaugural Gala Sunday evening. “Trying to be cute is out the window,” Rosie Perez told PEOPLE. “I have my long johns, and my tights, and my jeans, and my Ugg boots and my Kangol, Moscow-on the-Hudson hat and my down parka. I’m gonna be there. I just wanna watch.” CNN’s Soledad O’Brien slipped out of her ski pants and into her turquoise Adrianna Papell party dress once she got to the gala’s door. “I changed in the bathroom,” she said. “I have a bag full of long johns. I am wearing six layers today: ski pants, two layers of socks, boots, two turtlenecks and my shearling coat…It’s cold. It’s cold.” Freezing after the outdoor concert, Rosario Dawson said she was just happy to be inside. How will she stay warm Inauguration Day? “I don’t know,” she said, “just keep moving.” Click here to see all of PEOPLE.com’s inaugural coverage. – Wendy Grossman

We already love their sexy dresses, fabulous fragrances and amazing accessories, and now we have Dolce & Gabbana’s first makeup line to look forward to! The Italian design duo told WWD that Scarlett Johansson will be the face of the new collection, which had input from legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath. “We see makeup as another thing for women, like a dress. We worked on the makeup line like we work on a clothing collection — you can change makeup like you can change your clothes, depending on your mood,” Stefano Gabbana told WWD. The makeup will be packaged in glossy gold slipped into gold pouches, with colors taking inspiration from the Mediterranean (think deep blues and golds). The lipsticks will be scented with rose. “We wanted to create makeup with a scent. Domenico and I remember when we were children and opened our mother’s handbags — the scent of her lipstick trailed out. I observed that when women open makeup, they smell it first,” said Gabbana. As for Scarlett, she was photograhed for the sexy ad campaign by Solve Sundsbo lounging in a bed, recalling images of Marilyn Monroe. “Scarlett is sure of herself,” Gabbana said. “She’s a beautiful girl, but she’s really easygoing. She is very Dolce & Gabbana.” The products are set to launch for spring with prices ranging from $20 for nail lacquer to $59 for powder foundation. Tell us: Are you excited for Dolce & Gabban makeup?

In honor of the 10th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, Russell Simmons and his Simmons Jewelry Co. has created a collection of fine jewelry and watches all inspired by the iconic Nickelodeon cartoon. “We are always looking for innovative ideas to develop fine jewelry, and the Nickelodeon partnership to license SpongeBob is the perfect addition to the Simmons Jewelry Co. family,” said Simmons. The collection is led by an exclusive 12 carat diamond-encrusted pendant to be auctioned off to beneft the Diamond Empowerment Fund. The pendant contains a total of 12 carats of white, yellow, red and blue diamonds set in 18KT yellow and white gold. It will be debuted during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The collection will be available for men and women by Fall 2009 at fine jewelry and specialty retailers. Pieces will range from $150 to $75,000. Will SpongeBob replace Hello Kitty as the cartoon-of-choice for jewelry? Only time will tell…

Oscar de la Renta dressed both Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush for inaugural gowns, but with mums the word on who will be dressing the ever-stylish Michelle Obama for the big night, the revered designer sat down to chat with Barbara Walters on Sirius Radio to discuss the looks that he has created for Secretary of State-designate Clinton. De la Renta says she will be “wearing a very, very beautiful dress…pink and grey with this beautiful embroidery.” Oscar continues on to say that he “love[s] Hillary,” but they do fight about her revealing more skin. “You know, Hillary, in a sense, is sort of very prudish about the type of clothes she likes to wear and you know from the waist up she really looks great. She feels very uncomfortable about wearing revealing kind[s] of clothes, and so we are always fighting about the neckline. I do remember one time, we were at a party at the Metropolitan Museum and she was wearing, for the first time, something very, very open and then all of sudden she arrived with a big, huge shawl over her shoulder. And I kept pulling the shawl down, and [she] kept pulling it up because she felt uncomfortable about showing her shoulders.” In addition to her gown, Oscar also created a royal blue day look for Clinton. As for Michelle Obama, the designer has nothing but praise for her. “I think Michelle Obama is a woman of the 21st century and she’s a very good looking lady. I think she’s going to be an extraordinary first lady, you know.”
