Renee Zellweger’s Golden Globes Look: Love It or Hate It?

Frazer Harrison/Getty

When we think of Renee Zellweger on the red carpet, visions of sleek blonde hair and retro strapless gowns come to mind. So, we were a little surprised by the Oscar winner’s appearance at the Golden Globes in a look that seemed to pull from a Victorian inspiration. Gone was the recent short hair, replaced by an updo of corkscrew curls. In place of the usual shoulder-baring gown was a see-through blouse over a nude corset and fishtail skirt — all still by Carolina Herrera, of course. We always applaud stars for trying new looks — isn’t that the fun part of fashion? (See all the Best Dressed stars at the Golden Globes by clicking here!) But we want to know what you think. Vote in our poll below!

Amanda

Everything about this look is a disaster! From her hair to the dress.

Mean Mister Mustasrd

She looks like an Oompa Loompa!

Kate

OMG! Who hooked her up with the old lady fashion miss? Bad hair, worse dress. Tragic.

deb

Just plain ugly

A

She looks like a senile old woman! Hey, Renee; if you have a stylist, fire them! This look is absolutely horrid!!

Chantelle

Don’t like it at all! The bottom part of the dress is great, but the top of the dress is horrible. It just looks like a dress that isn’t done! Don’t even get me started on the hair! What in the heck was she thinking with the hair style alone?!?!?!?!

Beth

Normally, she shines on the red carpet. What was she thinkging? Aparently, she needs a new stylist. This is horrible.

Johnny

Is she serious? She looks like she got into a bar brawl on the way to the red carpet, ripped sleeves, pulled hair, exposed bra and all

Carla Carlson

Black is not her color. Don’t these stars have someone they can trust to advise them?

Linda

Is it on backwards?
