Runway to Red Carpet: Jessica Alba in Dolce & Gabbana's Silk Pajamas

Jessica Alba had quite an edgy fashion day yesterday. First, she stepped out in pegged and pleated purple pants during the day, and then she hit the premiere of My Bloody Valentine in Dolce & Gabbana’s silk pajamas. We remember the daring evening ensemble, which harks back to the ’40s, from the Italian design duo’s runway show in September. We applaud Jessica for wearing a runway look, which can be tough to pull off, with such ease and elegance. But we can see how the satin set might not be everyone’s taste, so we want to know what you think of the look. Tell us: Do you like the Dolce & Gabbana look on Jessica, or is it better left to the runway?

I thought Jessica Alba would look stunning with everything, but too bad, this pajama didn’t suit for her.

she looks ridiculous. since having a baby, she has really lost her looks.

PJs are meants for sleep. Doesn’t matter whether it was designed by who and has appeared in which runway. I just think that is so absurd, beyond comprehension and i was speechless. I thought that Jessica is a fashionista. Wearing PJs to a red carpet event? She is so blinded by the label/designer of the garment that it doesn’t matter how it looks like, it could have been a piece of rug. Hey, anything goes as long as it was designed by who and who.

I wouldn’t have thought it possible to make pjs look good out in public, but somehow she pulled it off. The right shoes really made the outfit. She looks edgy and elegant.

She looks stupid, but I guess she thinks she can get away with is because she’s “Jessica Alba”.

Ummmmm pajamas??? Why in the world would you wear pajamas in public, especially on the “red carpet”? The only reason would be for a pajama party, but for any other function that would be a big “NO!!!”

Jessica Alba is beautiful without doubt and I applaud her for doing something daring! The only problem is the pjs really do look like pjs….I can appreciate the try & at least she had some comfort!

I saw this as a trend in vogue, and I thought maybe a vintage pajama top would be cute…but, the whole thing together is just weird. I mean she looks REALLY cute, but yeah-their pajamas!
