What Trends Are You Over for 2009?

With 2009 quickly approaching, we’ve stopped to reflect on the trends and fads that rocked 2008: boyfriend jeans, sky-high heels and liquid leggings like Rihanna‘s. Bangs and bobs dominated hair trends. Wii Fit, the iPhone and Twitter ruled the tech and social scenes. Some of these trends will fade, but others will stick around. Take Uggs, for example — there are those who love them, and those who love to hate them — but regardless, it seems they’re here to stay! So we want to know what you think! Tell us: What trends are you totally over? What trends do you hope will stick around?

Liquid leggings and shiny patent boots should definitely go. Also feathers such as that appalling green feather dress that Madonna wore a few weeks ago.
Oh and tons of accessories and outrageous ruffles, eg. Rihanna should go too. Ridiculous!

I think all this hideously 80s flashback stuff should go. Basically American Apparel in general can just go away. I am only 25 and I still vividly remember how horrific the fashion was and not to repeat it. I cannot stand any more ironically sported spandex. Eep.

Love Rihanna and her bad girl look!!

By the way, yes Britney is a hot topic right now but it is HER MOMENT! It totally seems just mean and inapropriate to put Kevin Federline- on the cover the week her album is released! After seeing For the Record special- you can see that it was Kevin that totally messed her up & that he did in fact use her!
Disgusting…you could have waited a week or two to put this out! Why not a Britney story with an exclusive on her! WE ARE SO PROUD OF BRITNEY! WE DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY MORE NEGATIVITY ON THAT GIRL! LET HER BE!
