Katie Holmes to Star in Next Miu Miu Campaign

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Katie Holmes is starring in the next Miu Miu campaign — sources confirm exclusively to PEOPLE.com that the actress will be the next face of the high-fashion line. No details on the specifics of the campaign are out yet, but chances are we’ll have to wait a few more months to see the images as it’s the Italian label’s Spring/Summer ad campaign. Holmes follows in the star-studded footsteps of previous Miu Miu models Lindsay Lohan, Kirsten Dunst and Johnny Depp’s lady-love Vanessa Paradis. Hmm, I remember Katie was a participant at a modelling convention long before Dawson’s Creek and long before her childhood dream to marry her childhood crush, Tom Cruise, became a reality for her. She would be a natural model for Miu Miu. Though I am surprised that she is not modelling in a campaign for Giogio Armani.
