FIRST LOOK: Rihanna’s Gucci Ad Campaign for UNICEF

Courtesy Gucci

Rihanna and Gucci are giving us a sneak peek of the singer’s ads for the brand’s 4th annual campaign to benefit UNICEF. And talk about looking good while doing good! The series of ads, which won’t hit magazines in December, feature the singer modelling luxe goods from Gucci’s “Tattoo Heart” collection. A portion of proceeds from the all-white line will go towards improving the lives of children in sub-Saharan Africa through life-saving programs. And the singer couldn’t be happier to continue her work with the charity. “The work that UNICEF does in the world is so incredible,” she says. “And I am honored to be able to join forces with Gucci to create this amazing campaign which will contribute to UNICEF. I think the campaign and the sales of these beautiful products can make the difference.” Click here to learn more about UNICEF.

SNEAK PEEK: Jessica Simpson’s Holiday Ads for Macy’s

courtesy Macys

Holiday season is almost here, and Macy’s is launching a star-studded ad campaign appropriately titled Believe. Design stars like Jessica Simpson, Martha Stewart, Carlos Santana, Donald Trump, Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole will appear in the TV commercials launching on Sunday. And they aren’t the only famous faces in Macy’s this holiday season. Macy’s will be setting up Believe Stations in every store that feature a Believe Meter, letter-writing station and an official R.H. Macy Santa Mail letterbox. Beginning on November 9, children across the country are invited to drop off their letters – stamped and addressed to Santa At The North Pole — at any Macy’s store in the Santa Mail letterbox. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and up to $1 million to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. We can’t wait to see the rest of the ads (and to start our holiday shopping!). Tell us: What do you think of Jessica’s Macy’s ad?
