SNEAK PEEK: Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pleasure Ads

In the new ad campaign for Estee Lauder’s Pleasure fragrance, which will hit magazines in December, high-fashion spokesmodel Gwyneth Paltrow goes for a laid-back feel, looking at ease as she lounges in a grassy field with a guitar by her side. In her soft pink and white outfit and loose curls, the actress expresses a serene take on pleasure that we love. Tell us: What do you think of Gwyneth Paltrow’s new Pleasure ads?

I think Gwyneth is beautiful! Her face always looks fresh and pretty. And I’m so glad she cut her hair, since then she’s been wearing cuter clothes as well!

I believe Gwyneth looks homely and unattractive in this ads (of course, she’s not in the least drop-dead-gorgeous to begin with). Anyway, tt certainly doesn’t make me want to run right out and buy that fragrance — unless you’re buying it for some homely and unattractive aunt or friend.

i think she is beyond annoying. she works too hard to be too thin, but goes on a road trip show about food (a bit hard to swallow – even mario batali commented on her working out for hours each day – a form of an eating disorder, i think). i don’t think she’s that pretty; certainly she’s not ugly, but she represents an icy quality that just doesn’t inspire me to want to look like her or buy products she is promoting. i don’t know how to explain it except to say that i am a beauty junkie, but the estee lauder brand seems old and cold for having her (even though i’m a few years older than gwyneth!). she might be the nicest person in the world, but she comes across snotty and unsexy and unpretty…and sexy and pretty are how i want to feel when i’m buying cosmetics!!

While I prefer “intuition” to “Pleasure”, I still find Gwyneth beautiful in a very fresh and clean way. She always looks like she’s at peace with herself and her life. To me she is a classic beauty, like Grace Kelly was. Personally, I think her image fits the name “White Linen” better.

The photograph highlights her beautiful skin and eyes. She is a classic beauty, and the photo accentuates her natural appeal. I am surprised to see negative comments about the photo. I suppose some people prefer a more garish look.

I see Gwyneth & her friends posts here & all over the blogosphere.

The one comparing her to Grace Kelly was obviously Gwyneth. Nobody would compare Gwyneth’s mousy face to the beauty that was Princess Grace. Come on! I’m no Grace Kelly but I’m soooo much better looking than Gwyneth.
