Anchor Blue Pulls the Plug on Heidi Montag's "Heidiwood" Line

After just one year, Heidi Montag‘s fashion line “Heidiwood” for Anchor Blue is being discontinued. Marla White, Director of PR & Brand Development at Anchor Blue Retail Group, tells PEOPLE “Anchor Blue and Heidi Montag are pleased with what Heidiwood for Anchor Blue accomplished during this past year. However Anchor Blue chose not to extend the Heidiwood contract after the initial year as they will be concentrating solely on what their heritage, their foundation, is based on — denim. They are very excited about an initiative they are launching in February ’09 for guys and girls that will carry throughout the coming year.” Wonder if that means Heidi will be looking to design somewhere else. Tell us: Are you sad to see Heidiwood go?

Thank God…I HATE this girl. Her acting is crap, her singing his crap…cant blame anyone for pulling the plug on this also. And her boyfriend…God what a tool

Heidi’s line was trashy, to say the least. It is interesting how people made a huge deal about Lauren’s line being taken out of Kitson and criticized her line for being too simple and expensive. She still has a growing business, unlike Heidi. Better to be simple, classy, and a little expensive than to be ugly, trashy, and cheap (in both senses of the word).

The translation for that last sentence in the article: “We dumped Heidi’s line ’cause she sucks…by the way, buy our jeans!”

Am I sad to see Heidiwood go? Pshhh. No.

I personally dislike when celebrities start their own clothing lines, but I try hard to see their visions. Heidi, however, has no vision whatsoever. Anchor Blue made a big mistake and now they’re taking it back. Good move.

Does anyone else notice that Heidi has to do everything Lauren does? But of course Lauren always does it better. Also I bet Spencer was the one that wanted her to do it for the publicity, I hate that guy.

I am glad that Heidy’s contract is not renew. I find her immature, needy and very spacey. As a fried that should be her priority. Having a man in her life, should be there. She needs to respect herself, her boyfriend does not treat her well. Any mani in my life has to accept my friends. Men come and go, but friends are there forever. It shows how petty she is. Lauren has grown up, maybe heidy will too. She hopefully will find what is more important. friendship and family.

Ouch!

I echo Annie’s comments on disliking when celebrities start their own clothing lines. It takes away the uniqueness of real fashion designers who have studied hard and worked hard to get to the top. Thank goodness this particular company has come to its senses and discontinued business with this non-talent. Heidi, try working for a living. Your 15 minutes is almost up.
