EXCLUSIVE: Sneak Peek at Tina Turner’s World Tour Costumes

Courtesy Bob Mackie; inset EMI

Tina Turner has become almost as recognizable for her sexy stage style as for her sultry sound. And it’s a look she’s been developing over the past 30 years with the help of costume designer Bob Mackie. Now, he’s at it again, stitching new stage creations for Tina’s 2008 world tour, which kicks off tonight in Kansas City — and he’s given PEOPLE an exclusive first look at the new designs! We love how Mackie has kept Tina’s look fresh while referencing some of the high-points in her career, including her role in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and super-hit “Proud Mary.” Tell us: What do you think of the sexy 68-year-old’s latest stage looks?
