Naomi Campbell and Famous Friends Walk the Runway for Charity

EMPICS Entertainment/ABACA

Naomi Campbell brought her supermodel power to the runway for her 2008 Fashion for Relief charity catwalk show benefiting the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood. Naomi welcomed everyone to the show in a wool Alaia dress and Alaia ankle boots, telling reporters, “This is what the fashion world is doing to give back. I won’t ask people to do anything unless I think it’s really important. I only ask when I think it’s something they will be passionate about. All these people here tonight feel the same way.” Singer Estelle was the first to strut down the runway to the sound of her hit song “American Boy.” Runway turns followed from Chanel Iman, Tyson Beckford, Kim Stewart and Naomi herself. Supporter Mischa Barton watched from the front row, telling PEOPLE, “I do lot of work with Save the Children. Today I was doing press with them and they told me this charity is affiliated with theirs. I learned up on it, and Naomi is doing a good thing with it. She has always been very friendly and caring to me. She’s really sweet.” Though she has walked countless shows, the supermodel was still nervous — one of her models ran a little late — but the feeling backstage was perfectly summed up by Estelle, who told PEOPLE as she came off the runway, “Wicked! They cheered and stuff. It felt like a show. I was smiling, dancing and everything. I want to go and cry now.” –Reporting by Monique Jessen

Stars Make Their Mark at Lipstick Jungle Premiere Party

Karen Santos/Startraks

You may still have another week to wait until Lipstick Jungle returns to TV for its new season on September 24th, but the show’s stars — and some of their most glamourous girlfriends — got the party started a little early, with a Maybelline-sponsored launch event in Manhattan. While guests chatted and sipped on custom cocktail creations, stars like Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, Lindsay Price and more made sure they were first in line to add their signatures to a star-sized Maybelline mirror — signed with (what else?) Maybelline lipstick. By the end of the evening, many of their guests, which included singer Natasha Bedingfield, guest-star Rosie Perez, and Real Housewife of N.Y.C. Bethenny Frankel, took their lipstick to the mirror to create what might just be the sexiest autograph book on record. Tell us: Which of Lipstick Jungle’s characters are you most excited to see in the new season?

Would You Wear a Hippie Headband Like Nicole?

George Napolitano/FilmMagic

This fall, we’re all about headbands.  Not only do they bring preppy glamour to the ladies of Gossip Girl, they also rescue us from our own bad hair days.  But we just aren’t as sure about the latest incarnation of this hair accessory–the hippie headband.  Nicole Richie wore a bejeweled version by Jennifer Behr recently, opting for a sparkling take on the retro head gear that looks more glam than Woodstock.  We think she pulls it off to a dazzling degree, but we can accept that it’s probably not for everyone. We want to know:  Would you wear a hippie headband?

Jack Black Storms the Red Carpet

While promoting his new flick Tropic Thunder, the funny man has been appearing on the red carpet with a new signature streaked jacket. Jack Black explains, “The suit has a design I came up with to look like lightning thunder in honor of the film Tropic Thunder, and it looked good.” But apparently, between his wearing at the Los Angeles premiere and the London premiere where PEOPLE caught up with the funnyman, there was a dry cleaning mishap. “I had to have it drycleaned ’cause I sweat in it, and now it just looks like bird [poop].” But that didn’t stop him from entertaining his screaming fans by jumping around the red carpet. “I have some moves, and I am not afraid to use them,” he told journalists. “If the people shout and scream, I have to show them.” We couldn’t agree more. Tell us: What do you think of Jack Black’s comic streaked jacket? –reporting by Dimi Gaidatzi

Theo Wargo / WireImage

She’s one of Hollywood’s most gorgeous leading ladies, and Julianne Moore is on a mission to stay beautiful naturally — and to make it easier for you to do the same. The actress has partnered up with skincare line Burt’s Bees, whose alliance with the Natural Products Association has helped develop a Natural Seal bestowed on products that are at least 95% natural. And she just became the first person to “Vote Natural” on the site and voice her support for skincare products that are free of potentially toxic synthetics. So why the push now toward toxin-free skincare? “When I had my first child, I became far more aware of the importance of the products we use in and on our bodies, in our homes, and more broadly, that affect our footprint on the environment,” she says. “It’s important to me to raise my children in a healthy environment, while preserving our environment.” Click over to votefornatural.com to learn more about the program — and even download a free wallet card with a list of the six ingredients to look out for when you shop. And be sure to vote and secure your chance to win free natural goods.
