FIRST LOOK: Paris Hilton’s Fairy Dust Ad Campaign

Courtesy Parlux

Paris Hilton’s fifth addition to her fragrance empire, Fairy Dust, won’t be hitting stores until the middle of next month, but the reality star is giving PEOPLE an exclusive first look at the new images from her print campaign. The ads for the pink peony, orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla creme scent feature a winged, wand-wielding Paris playing a real-life fairy, and ask, “Do you believe in fairy tales?” Tell us: What do you think of Paris’s new fragrance campaign? Will you consider buying her latest scent?

Jessie

She looks like Tinkerbell’s skanky twin sister. And I can see her ribs; somebody feed this girl a sandwich!

Ohioan

Paris’ fragrance campaign absolutely turns me off of ever buying this fragrance.

gina

anything i’d wanna say has already been said by jessie.

way to hit on the mark.

Samantha

Looking forward to it, but not because the campaign calls much of my attention. The poster is awful, if you’re trying to sell a product you need to call people’s attention! And this is not really doing that. I could have made a better poster and I’m just 14 with little-moderate knowledge of Photoshop.

quinn

the photo is beautiful. if theFRAGRANCE is as great ,of course i will buy it for every one for christmas. i think it is the fragrance and not the scent . that is rthe key word here. quinn

Pamela

She’s way too skinny. This is the wrong image to show to young girls. Even if her perfume does smell good, I would never buy it. I refuse to support someone as self-absorbed as she is. She has a show coming out to help her find a new best friend! How egotistical can you get?

Sam

I think is pretty, and if I like how it smells, I would buy it!

Pamela, this may sound a bit stupid, but if there are shows to find ‘the love of your life’, I think a show to find a bff is a bit more realistic.

I don’t think is a bad image, there are young girls who are naturally skinny, like her! So, what’s next? Skinny girls have to gain weight because being akinny is ‘the wrong image’?

It’s better to be skinny like her, than being fat and having high cholesterol, diabetes, suffering from blood pressure, and other diseases fat people suffer from, and specially in the U.S. where there are so many kids who are overweight. The key is to show kids to get/stay in a healthy weight, not necessarilly as akinny as her, and to do it the healthy way, not by being anorexic or bulimic.

frank

She looke so stupid and jessie was so right. Only guys would buy that.

little tweet

I would so buy that

tina

yayy :)
i won quote of the day!!! :)

Courtney

I like it! Really pretty.

Pamela

Um Sam, I doubt Paris is naturally skinny like that. She is a self-obsessed fake celebrity, and unfortunately some girls look up to her and will think that being skinny like that is cool. Paris should eat something instead of starving herself. And I find it quite sad that she can’t find herself her own best friend…she has to create a show to do it for her.

mia

She’s not too interesting to look at especially if she’s adverdising something for others to buy. Let the pros do it!!!!

Sam

Pamela, do you even know her to say that about her? Give the girl a break!

Brad

My rule of thumb is that if you can see a woman’s ribs, she’s way too thin. That’s not sexy at all. I hate women that look like that. It’s disgusting.

Angela

OH sure I’ll buy this and give more money to this already filthy rich, spoiled, skinny skank.

m2b2foster

I’d rather smell like sweat than buy anything related to her!

Pamela

Sam, how do I know she’s selfish and self-obsessed? Look at her. She doesn’t have a job…she just mooches off the money her daddy gives her. She expects everything to be given to her. I mean, she created a line of clothing that portrays her face on the t-shirts! And she wears those shirts to promote herself. If that’s not self-obsessed, then I don’t know what is.

Gen

Don’t like her she is not a good role model for young girls, and this ad stinks!!!!!!

EChizzle

The ad and the fragrance does not interest me in the least. I don’t think my teenage daughter nor my nieces would wear the perfume or would be impressed by the ad. I guess you have to be a real fan of Paris Hilton.

big e

who cares!! i can’t stand her anyways!

Mary

Pamela, Paris Hilton’s “job” is essentially selling her image. She gets paid to promote herself. That is why you see her everywhere, and promoting all sorts of products. Self-obsessed, maybe. But selfish? Not necessarily. The reason she does this is because it brings in the money (and a lot of it), especially since most of her inheritance is going to charity.

In addition, as far as I can remember, she’s always been that skinny. So it is more probable than not that this is her natural body. I, too, have been classified as underweight my entire life, but that is how my body naturally is.

Neata

You’re kidding right? She looks undernourished.

Why does this person exist?? Who buys her stuff, who? I just don’t understand why this person is still getting media attention to hock herself. Ughs.

Joss

I peed on her once.
For charity.

I think your are all hypocrite’s, you are judging this perfume and image by your standards, but what is to say those are correct???? NOTHING

I believe that every style and view has a place in society but you should not impose your views on others, maybe you should all consider that thought =]

swankygirl

I would rather smell like my dog’s butt than smell like Paris Hilton.

rrimuna

i guess i won’t consider buying it.. but it doesn’t seem that bad :)

amy

Give me a break. This is just another chance for Paris to dress like a skank and have her picture plastered everywhere. One of these days she will grow up and get some real style. Being skinny and beautiful is great, but it’s what you do with it that really matters. I think she’s failed miserably. I would never buy anything that promotes her.

Daniel's Critical Corner

buy it for all the women I know !!!

Add in Glamour Mag & Sample. Smells Lovely! I would wear it for sure! Suttle Lovlieness! Plus I love Gardenia! The add is kinda goofy but I always smell the sample no matter who makes it. I beleive this one is a BIG HIT! So romantic!

lindsey

im soo excited about this. i ripped it out of Vogue, to tell my mom i need this asap. paris is amazing, and who cares about her ad, as a matter of fact, i think it looks cool.

Sara

I’m not a big Paris Hilton fan but I actually really love this fragrance!!! It was in one of my magazines and I just keep going back to it…if you can look past Paris Hilton you might actually like it:) I did!

MizCatwalk20

Sometimes she acts like she’s on some fairy dust. Maybe that’s where she got the name from! She probably took a hit of that mess and was like “…..uh..gee…that’s hot.” LMAO!! No seriously, i havent heard of it. I’m going to have to check it out.

Mayumi

some of her fragrances smell nice, i have yet to smell this one. but the ad does turn me off.
i mean her neck ?!?! it looks broken. or maybe she hit a nerve. and the tagline, ‘do you believe in fairy tales’? shouldn’t it be do you believe in fairies? i’m sure a fairy tale is something like cinderella.

alleyna

I completely agree with Sam. I think this is a really pretty picture, and if it smells just as good then i would definatley buy it.

Yeah, Paris is naturally skinny and like sam said many girls are. Just because she is skinny doesnt meen you should be saying comments like Jessie where all you are doing is putting someone down, if she really did have an eating disorder, which i dont believe she does, than she would need support not people making her feel worse about herself.

laura

i have actually smelled the fragrance and if u like juicy couture then u would love this stuff. its all about the smell

Kayla

I have seen a wayyyyyyy skankier tinkerbell. I want to buy this, but don’t know how or where to buy it. I’m only 11 and this would be my first real perfume that isn’t in a plastic bottle. But I love Paris.

Kayla

OMG! To luara. I loooooove juicy couture, my aunt lets me wear it sometimes.

Allison

This ad does make me want to purchase her new perfume. I love this picture, although you can see her ribs a litte and they should have airbrushed it out, she still looks gorgeous! I love all of Paris’s perfumes and I’m sure that I will love this one as well!

tinkerbell kirstie

i think she looks great! i would love to have her figure! and all her perfumes are amazing! esp heiress! i will def be buying this one! xx

tinkerbell kirstie

and to people who say she is too skinny!! i agree with the other person, i would rather be too skinny than too fat as fat comes with too much health problems! being skinny looks better and if she was fat on this picture then im sure u would all complain about that! cant please everyone!

PLP

DOES IT SMELL LIKE DESPIRATION, OR HOMELY SKANK………..JUST WONDERING!!

dawne

I’m going to the mall this week to buy the new fragrance. 1.5 million have already been sold according to Parlux.
I have all the previous fragrances and they can compete with any 5th Ave cologne.

Paris’s ads are always so romantic, just like her life. Loves it. Loves Paris.

And I totally love her new Bff show and her new boyfriend Benji. So hot. So succesful.

Judy

I do not care for Paris Hilton. I did try the fairy dust and I really liked it. Enough that I will buy (even thou it is a “Paris” thing). If you do not mention her name it would be a good thing. As for the Pic. I think that it is tacky and could confuse little girls and teens as to what a woman should look like – Anorexic or worst.

fernando

Would be really interested on adding this product to my inventory in my store “Fairyland”

carlycakes

I love this ad! I work fragrances and when I saw this poster I couldn’t stop looking at it. I think girls will love this, the whole idea is so feminine and youthful, not to mention beautiful!

fay

i like the details of the poster but i think she needs longer (more covering) flowy clothing. but the perfume smells amazing. i own every one of them

Amanda

This smells really good and looking foward to getting it for xmas this year. I think fairy dust is very girly and different from her others.

AP

Bought it. Love it.

Brandi Pauly

Paris looks amazing and all of her other fragrances smell wonderful so of course i’d buy this one.
Paris is the most beautiful woman alive.

Mandy

She’s not as bad as people make her out to be. Give her a break..she’s hot, she’s rich & she makes awesome perfume. She’s the girl we love to hate..and i love her!!! Oh and i want this perfume. :)

Debbie

I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS FRAGRANCE
I HAVE SMELLED ITS SCENT AND IT IS
FAIRY SCENTLY , MAGICALLY , DELICIOUS ….
I WANT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS !
I LOVE HER AD – SHE LOOKS THE BEST THAN I’VE
SEEN FOR AWHILE – SHE LOOKS LIKE A FAIRY –
ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT OF HER FACIAL STRUCTURE.
WHY CAN’T PEOPLE STOP BEING JEALOUS OF HER (PARIS)
AND BE THANKFUL SHE COMES OUT IN THE WORLD AND
MAKES SOMETHING LIKE THIS ? HELPS THE WORLD BE MORE BEAUTIFUL AND SMELL BETTER & WE ALL NEED TO “BELIEVE” IN FAIRY TALES TO ENRICH OUT IMAGINATIONS AND CREATE BEAUTY FOR OUR SENSES :)

Heather

you people are all just jealous of her.
her new fragrance smells great.

Samantha

the fact that its by paris hilton makes me hestiant to buy it. it smells amazing though.

erica

i love paris hilton! she is my idol and i own all of her perfumes. i’m buying this one for sure. :)

Maggie

This perfume smells nice. It’s soft and very sexy!! Who cares about how skinny she is, if anything she should be the one to worry not any of us.

Nikole

They could have used another ad, because this one doesn’t call much attention, but the perfume does smells good, my parents gave it to me for “El Día de Reyes” and I really like it. It has a chic, sassy and sweet smell, and i don’t like gardenias at all…but the combination of the vanilla and orange blossoms with gardenias is great…the formula they used for the scent…I just love it…they needed a bit more of work with the campaign ad though

iana chatilova

i love paris hilton and all her parfums is very very sexy also paris is very beautiful woman perfect body and her face is hot i will buy her parfum can can and also fairy dust this week! many men dreaming to have sex with her!!!!
