Keira Knightley: “I’m Like Cinderella”

With her period drama The Duchess heading into theaters, PEOPLE caught up with Keira Knightley in Toronto to get her take on her icon-like style. “Have I managed to get to fashion icon status?” asked a shocked Keira. The modest star admits that she likes getting dressed up, but that she is definitely more of a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl. When she takes on the red carpet, Keira believes in going all out. Among her favorite recent gowns is a pink Chanel number she wore to last year’s Venice Film Festival. “I took one look at it and said ‘That’s far too girly, I’m not wearing that,”" recalls the star. “[But, then] I put it on and went ‘Oooh, this is fantastic!’” Though Keira has made headlines in some of the most beautiful gowns ever, they aren’t hanging in her closet. “I’m like Cinderella, they all go back at the end of the night.” Even still, it’s not too shabby to rock Chanel for the night! the dress is simply beautiful but she looks very sick. she needs to gain at least 10 pounds. i dont understand how these actresses and models think looking like a walking skeleton is sexy. its not.

believe it or not, some women cant help it. i’m 5’6″ and weigh only 105lbs. believe me i try to gain, it doesnt happen. shes actually a star that has spoken out about her body, and that she is in the same boat.

I agree with Stacy. I’m 5’6″ and 110lbs, and for me, that is my ideal and natural weight. And I love my carbs :)

THATS her body! She’s skinny. She doesnt have a problem, shes said it over n over again.

Just like Kim Kardashian’s curvy body is hers!

There a diff body types, I just wish people would leave people alone and let them be skinny or curvy! WHATEVER!

Give me a break! Regardless of whether it’s her “body” or not, which I seriously doubt unless she has a tape worm problem, she looks grotesque. She looks like death warmed over….a little early for Halloween, isn’t it? Someone feed her a sandwich, and quick…..nothing sexy about skin and bones.

Lindsey Lohan once said that she didn’t have an eating disorder too. Whatever the case, if Keira is eating or not eating – Hollywood contiunes to cast her in roles. It is what it is. Just let the girl be.

I used to be so skinny growing up that I was made fun of, which hurts too. At least the bigger girls had curves getting looked at. It took 2 kids and being over 35 before I had to start being careful with what I eat. My sister is on the opposite side of that. If they’re healthy, leave them alone and worry about your own self since obviously some people need to trash on others to feel better about themselves. Use me, cuz I feel sorry for you!

People’s bodies are different, OBVIOUSLY. She might look “thin” to you, but if she’s able to cast in movies, do interviews, promote her films, and do it without having problems, then she is healthy. If you’re criticizing someone for being too thin, it’s no worse than making fun of someone for being large. Get over yourselves; you aren’t the smartest people on the earth -_-
