Hockey Star Vogue-Intern Sean Avery Scores a Movie Deal

Sara Jaye Weiss/Startraks

It’s been a busy few months for Sean Avery, who went from hockey star, to Vogue intern, to guest editor, Gap model and back again (albeit on a different hockey team) — with big plans as a celebrity stylist regrettably dashed. And it seems we’re not the only ones fascinated by the fashion-loving Dallas Stars player. New York reports that New Line Cinema will produce romantic comedy inspired by the fashion-loving jock’s internl adventures. No word yet on who will star in the film, which will be co-produced by Sean’s close friend Lauryn Flynn. Tell us: Who do you think should star in the upcoming movie?

I think Joan is on to something!

I like how People make him sound like some kind of hockey SUPERSTAR. This dude is nothing but a racist instigator. Remember when he called Gerorges Laraque offensive names, but nobody could do anything because there were no witnesses?

Pens in 09!!!!!

I’m so glad he’s out of NY…and we won’t have to deal with his antics anymore.

Good luck, Dallas!

Kathy

Why would I watch any movie about him when I can’t even stand watching him in a hockey game???? He looks like Kevin Federline….and his fame like Kevin’s….is notorioty only.

?

I’m with Kacey on this one! OILERS FOR STANLEY CUP ‘09!!

Sheila

Sean should play himself. There isn’t another person who can capture his style!
