Hockey Star Vogue-Intern Sean Avery Scores a Movie Deal

Sara Jaye Weiss/Startraks

It’s been a busy few months for Sean Avery, who went from hockey star, to Vogue intern, to guest editor, Gap model and back again (albeit on a different hockey team) — with big plans as a celebrity stylist regrettably dashed. And it seems we’re not the only ones fascinated by the fashion-loving Dallas Stars player. New York reports that New Line Cinema will produce romantic comedy inspired by the fashion-loving jock’s internl adventures. No word yet on who will star in the film, which will be co-produced by Sean’s close friend Lauryn Flynn. Tell us: Who do you think should star in the upcoming movie?

Fantastic cant wait to see it!

Here’s hoping he is a better actor than hockey player. Also, if I was a co-star I wouldn’t say anything to upset him because god only knows what he would do to them. Maybe they should name the movie “Cheap Shot”

JUSTIN CHAMBERS should play him.

I agree with Joan. He was an ass on the ice pulled a lot of cheap moves. Lets just hope he is as successful in fashion as he was in NY.

Though he’s got talent, he’s also got a mean-streak. I encourage him to go into movies, because that move would make the NHL a safer place….and all the better without him. GO OILERS GO!!!!

First off, congrats to Sean Avery on scoring a movie deal! Second, as far as who should play him in a movie, I’ll say Jeffrey Donovan, because they look just alike, they have the same faces! Also, It’s interesting & sad how Kevin Connolly’s life was before he achieved fame!

he may be a cheap player, but he’s got talent. Congrats on the movie deal, and best of luck to him in Dallas. He may be an ass on the ice, but very few opponents forget about him and every team needs an agitator.
