Christina Aguilera Launches Her Inspired New Scent

Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage

For two hundred lucky fans at N.Y.C.’s Macy’s flagship yesterday, Christina Aguilera had a much-welcomed message: “Come on over!” To promote her new fragrance, “Inspire”, Christina signed perfume bottles and chatted with fans — some of whom had camped out since Sunday — in Macy’s jam-packed Beauty Arcade, as a soundtrack of her hits like “Lady Marmalade” and “Dirrrty” played in the background. Wearing a chic, skin-tight Roberto Cavalli dress and black patent YSL pumps, the singer — who arrived sans husband Jordan Bratman or eight-month-old son Max — signed more than two hundred bottles of the scent. And even if you missed your chance to get an autographed bottle of Christina’s new scent, you can still get Inspire-d at Macys.com. Tell us: Will you try out the singer’s fragrance?

The Scoop on Chris Brown’s New Cap Designs

Courtesy of New Era

As if his music and movie careers (and hanging out with girlfriend Rihanna!) weren’t keeping Chris Brown busy enough, the star has now added desiging to his resume. The singer stopped into the LA Lids store at the Beverly Center on Saturday to unveil his new line of six exclusively designed New Era caps, which feature cartoon-like characters and lettering aimed for the young and stylin.’ “Hats have been my trademark since I started in the business about four years ago,” he says. “Young kids love hats, I love them. Everyone does. So that’s what attracted me to designing them.” Says Brown of the hat’s stylings, “One is of a foot smashing a radio. Its like saying undeniable music — like when you have smashes. At the same time it represents the rebel in you — not doing the conventional.” And for the true Brown fan, try the one that Chris calls his “alter-ego.” He say, “Another design is the nerd. It’s like my alter-ego. The goofy side. The character that you don’t really see. It’s like having a logo for my character.” He praises New Era for being “one of the best” and says he plans to branch off into shoes and watches next. “Now-a-days,” he says of jewelry, “everyone doesn’t have to be blinged out.” He adds that he plans on being more subtle with his accessories approach. “I don’t have be like Jacob,” he giggles. Jennifer Lopez Gets Cozy With Her Fashion Favorites

Courtesty of ELLE

Jennifer Lopez is as well known for her fashion presence on the red carpet as she is for her success as an actress and a singer. For the October issue of Elle, the megastar took time to pose with and praise a few of her favorite designers — Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, Donatella Versace and Michael Kors. Lopez says of Chapman, “She could be a model — but meanwhile she’s down there pinning and sewing all these things all over you!” The compliments are returned with Kors telling Elle, “Jennifer epitomizes my love of the modern jet-set woman — today’s answer to Elizabeth Taylor glamour, circa Butterfield 8, all dipped in tones of honey, caramel, and camel.” Click here for more excerpts from the cover story.
