FIRST LOOK: Whitney Port’s New Clothing Line!

Courtesy Kitson.com; Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic

After much-anticipation, The Hills star Whitney Port’s line is here! The former Teen Vogue intern and pal Adrienne Baravetto have co-designed a collection of sparkly party dresses. From what we’ve seen, Whitney’s Eve line is a little more high-fashion than friend Lauren Conrad’s casual dresses, and perfect for a night out the town. Some of Whitney’s designs have already made it to the floor of celeb haunt Kitson, and online — and it looks like her collection will be going neck-to-neck with Heidi’s more affordable one. We have to say, this ruffle-necked dress totally looks like something Whitney would wear. Get it, $345, and another Whitney Eve look at shopkitson.com. Tell us: What do you think of Whitney’s new pieces? Would you wear them?

Join the New Kids On The Block to Fight For a Cure

Peter Kramer/AP

The New Kids on the Block are doing their part to fight for a cure during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And it’s an issue that hits close to home for the band. After singer Danny Wood’s mother Elizabeth “Betty” Wood passed away after a battle with the disease, Danny and the other New Kids knew they wanted to do something to honor her memory and also benefit their fans. “A lot of the women coming to the shows need to be aware of early detection. They’re in that age from 25-35 where they need to get their first exams,” Danny tells PEOPLE. “That was the problem for my mother. By the time she found out, it was too late — and I don’t want that to happen to anyone else when it could be prevented.” To help support the cause and keep the memory of Elizabeth Wood alive, the band is selling limited-edition NKOTB tanks featuring the Breast Cancer pink ribbon, $35, with all proceeds supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Danny, who chose the charity says, “They’re the best foundation I’ve worked with. I’ve done their races in the past and I know it’s something my mom would have wanted.” Click here to purchase one of the tanks and help in the fight for a cure. –reporting by Michelle Tan

Stars Turn Out to Celebrate Manolo

AR/Flynet

What Hollywood fashionista doesn’t love an excuse to indulge in shoes? And at last week’s Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award event honoring Manolo Blahnik, everyone from Lucy Liu to Hilary Duff, January Jones and Nicky Hilton had their best excuse yet. Liu, who presented Blahnik with the award, wore his chic and strappy sandals. “These shoes are incredibly comfortable,” she told PEOPLE. “They’re slip-ons first of all, and they’re incredibly elegant. I love the idea of detail that he puts into his shoes — and they’re super comfortable.” As for how many pairs of Manolos Liu owns, “You literally cannot count!” she laughs. As guests milled around, drinking mojitos and looking at the iconic designs displayed in Lucite boxes, Hilton dished about what she thinks makes the designer’s shoes so popular. “You just feel good in them,” she said. “They’re so fun and they’re all so different. I have a lot [of pairs]. It’s a hobby — you collect them.” And we can’t think of a chicer pastime. –Reporting by Jenny Sundel

Audrina Patridge’s Next Gig: Denim Designer!

INF

Following in the fashionable footsteps of her Hills co-stars, Audrina Patridge has inked a deal with Divine Rights of Denim not only to co-design a line, but be the face of it as well. Audrina has already proved that she is more of a jeans and T-shirt type of gal than her fashionista former roommate Lauren Conrad, and she already has a favorite pair from the brand — the skinny “Lust” style in black stretch. Unlike Lauren’s higher-priced line, Audrina’s denim collaboration will likely be more affordable — Divine Rights of Denim jeans normally start at $58. Audrina’s line and her ads will be coming out in November. Tell us: What do you think of Audrina turning designer?
