08/26/2008 at 11:27 AM ET

Slip on your Paris Hilton Footwear stilettos, spritz on some Can Can, and get ready for another opportunity to replicate the heiress’s signature L.A. style. At a private party in Malibu this weekend, Paris Hilton unveiled her latest business venture: interchangeable hair extensions created in partnership with Sally Beauty and Dreamcatchers. As models strutted on the catwalk to the reality star’s own tunes in front of a crowd that included Nicky Hilton, David Katzenberg and Stephen Dorff, Paris revealed “The Bandit”, a revolutionary design which features a headband adorned with 100% polyester fiber hair extensions affixed with Velcro so you can mix and match headbands and hair styles. There are eight shades to choose from — including Paris Blonde, of course — and three lengths that range in price from $70 to $80, which can be curled, blow-dried and flat-ironed to suit whatever mood strikes you in just minutes flat. Order yours here at parisandsally.com. Tell us: Will you try out Paris’s new hair extension line?

No, my hair is already long enough.

Do non-celebs even wear hair extensions? I definitely would not buy velcro hair. Also, what is she wearing??

Greta on

Having somebody put fake hair on your head (even if it’s human hair) is kind of like attaching nail clippings to your fingers. It’s gross. What’s wrong with going natural?

I think the Bandit is for little girls who want to emulate Paris Hilton. It reminds me of the scrunchie made out of hair or the store in the mall where little girls leave out of there with makeup, glitter and crazy makeup. I can’t see a classy grown women wearing a headband with hair attached to it.

Also, yeah Kim, what is she wearing?

I agree it is definitely gross and I simply cannot see girls (except under theage of six) wearing ESPECIALLY grown women! Gosh, instead of putting plastic Barbie hair in your head, grow your own hair out, and buy a flat iron, blow drier, curling iron, and a simple, chic headband. Done!

Where did she get that cool parasol?!

Looks like her initial ‘P’ on the top. Very unique for outdoor events!

Heather on

I love her parasol! Cute.

I own several hair extensions.I have two of Paris’s .I think they are cute for a quick change .I have a hairstyle like victoria beckham so I like changeing my style now and then, its not something id want to wear daily .

that parasol is from http://www.pamelasparasols.com they do monogrammed parasols – very cool! [or hot as Paris would say!] I have one and it is gorgeous!

Pamela on

The parasol shown is the new Bling! Swarovski crystal studded Monogram by Pamela’s Parasols, http://www.pamelasparasols.com. Paris ordered one for her launch party and we were happy to make her a “P” in hot pink stones! We heard everyone loved it:) Thanks Paris!!

Yes some “non-celebrity grownups” do wear hair extentions. 1 year after finishing chemo my hair is only 2 inches long and without extentions I’d look like a boy and probaly feel like one too! So while some of you think its “gross” and stupid ,just hope to God that you’ll never actually need them!!

gary on

stupid

I looked the website for Paris Hilton hair extensions a few weeks ago. The looks and the colors available looked really good actually. It’s not something I would wear though, as my hair is already thigh length. “What does Paris’ real hair look like anyway?!?” is the question that came to mind when I looked at her line of extensions. Or, for that matter, what does several other stars’ real hair look like without their extensions? Now that’s scary to consider.

The parasol makes the look! It’s the new in-thing, and I”m so going to rock one!

rebecca on

tacky
but they could be fun i suppose

AMS on

There are many people who need hair extensions at an affordable price. Women and even children who went through chemo are a good example. While I am fortunate enough to be in good health, if I were to ever need these, this would be a fun and easy solution.

i think hair extensions are brilliant, i have really fine hair and it doesnt grow very quick or long so i like to wear them. people should think about reasons why people wear extensions before slaging them off, like p[eople that have lost their hair to illnesses.

I’ve been wanting to get hair extentions. Can someone please tell me if they stay in good? And also, how do you clean them?

Paris is such a loser…her 15 minutes of fame is about over..just about everyone is tired of her and her need to be special…she’s an airhead and a rude, self-centered female who is NOT pretty…just has the “HILTON” money…without that she’d be a no-body already!!

catherine on

she looks great but i wish she would settle down and have a good life with someone

Stacie on

Paris Hilton hair extensions are terrible and the customer service at DREAMCATCHERS is even worse! The hair tangles in less than a month and when I called to get it replaced they said it would take 8 weeks or so…well it didn’t take them 8 weeks to take my money! They are seriously the worst quality of Human Hair I have purchased, so many others have complained and the company still does not STAND BEHIND their product.

the bandit is brilliant i got mine yesterday it is so much easier than normal hair extensions an looks so natural. i wouldnt be without it now.

Whatever, Paris! I don’t even care about her issues. She sucks! WHo cares! She doesn’t work hard. She never graduated from High School, she dropped out because she can’t think. She has no critical thinking skill. NONE!

All of our hair is temple hair, meaning it was cut from the temple and not mixed in the process, all hair is kept aligned in the same direction. This process is very important! If hair cuticle is not all aligned in the same direction, it will start to tangle as soon as you wash it. Some hair may look very nice when you first receive it, but after a few washes it becomes dull, dry and start to tangle, you can brush all you want and the minute you stop brushing it will just tangle again and will have that “Birds Nest” look to it the minute you stop brushing it. This means that the hair is not temple hair! it is hair that has been collected from different donors, some cuticles facing up and some down, basically “LEFT OVERS” all the tangling in your hair is the effect of using cheap leftovers hair!
