I saw lauren’s designs last night on the emmy awards show and they are so moo moo. They aren’t even original. it’s like a skirt turned dress.
I don’t think she is a vera wang or marc jacobs.

Many people say that she is very selfish and stuff ,but a guy who recently had an interview with her said she was really down to earth. And yeah maybe she is very hard on her friends but all of them wasn’t famous before she put them in The Hills so maybe we don’t see what’s behind the cameras.

I think that this is a great thing for Lauren. I think she is using her Hills success in a positive way, unlike Heidi and Spencer. Way to go Lauren!

its great that there trusting her but its like seriously i think you need to be a bit more experienced college is great but they want more then babydoll dresses and gladiator sandles! it has to be elegant which doesnt seem to be her thing i hope she isnt a dissapointment i want to see what she can do!

People, she is studying Product Development, NOT fashion design — I wonder is she even knows how to design? She probably pays someone to create her sketches and sew her patterns. And this is for the Emmys, not the Oscars or Grammys. It’s an honor, for sure, but the chick clearly is afraid to take risks. Her clothes (what she “designs” and what she wears) are all VERY BASIC. Basic colors, sillhoutes, and patterns. Can you imagine her churning out something Betsey Johnson, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, de la Renta, or even Christian Siriano could make???? Yeah, NO . . .

Why Lauren? She’s not a celebrity designer either, reality show star, I love her but I don’t think she’s the right designer for this. The Emmy’s are all about elegance, hire someone like Giorgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld or someone in higher fashion then just sun dresses and big sunglasses. Bad choice!

WOW! I feel so bad for real, talented and struggling designers. Se didn’t earned this opportunity. Shame on the Emmys for showing so much disrespect to real designers. I’m still in shock. She is a reality star, give her jobs accordingly. Hollywood got it wrong again!!!
