Just a comment about the comment regarding Kate Middleton’s clothing. I don’t think expense should be the reason to kick someone off a best dressed list. Yea, usually the more expensive something is the better it is, but that is not always the case. I think her style fits perfectly with everyone else Vanity Fair had on that list for the women (except for a few like SJP, who is a different style).

I really love Charlize Theron’s style. I think she was more deserving then some women on that list. Vanity Fair seems to favor the polished business look rather than the “red carpet/formal” look.

This is the list of best dressed, not the most addicted on fashion. Style is not about following the fashion, it is about you making your own fashion. Tilda of course dresses in her very own style and is not easy to swallow.

Posh, Katie etc. are no style icons yet and maybe never (well Katie might – Posh needs a miracle). Posh maybe expensive in money, but she is cheap in style, if you understand what I mean. Kate Middleton – if she wears the cheap labels – is in that case her opposite. Very few women of here age have that refained style.

I totally agree with SJP and Carla Bruni but Tilda Swinton? She wears bags..ugly ones! Eeww! Don’t know why she’s on the list. And katie holmes shoudl be on the list: I agree!

I think it’s right not to place either Posh or Katie on the list: everytime they seems to put TOO MUCH effort in what they wear, they try too hard, they don’t feel (or look) relaxed.
Middleton knows how to wear not splurging too much money, that’s ispiring. Money doesn’t mean style!
I feel kate moss is missing, even if she disappeared a bit in the last time, she’s still an icon!
Carla Bruni is definitely STUNNING, even when she dress down she looks dropped out from a runway!
Alexa Chung could be there, she’s stylish and edgy!
