Kim Kardashian Sniffs Out a Signature Scent!

She may be best known for her famous curves, but Kim Kardashian‘s upcoming foray into fragrance is pushing her into uncharted sensory territory. At this weekend’s Intermix-hosted VH1 Rock Honors party, the reality star dished to PEOPLE about becoming a master perfumer with her signature fragrance launching next May. “It comes out Mother’s Day and [I’m] gearing up for the launch,” she says. “We have some time, but it’s going through the process of smelling every single perfume and samples and telling people what you like and what you don’t. And then smelling it in the bottle smells different on a stick, which smells different on the skin.” So were did she start? “I knew exactly what I wanted,” she says. “Over the course of the years, I would collect different bottles, and they were very sentimental to me. I still have perfumes that my father bought me in New York and here and Italy and different places, that I would hold onto. And I wanted something that the bottle would be special for if someone got it as a gift.” And she’s definitely not fickle when it comes to fragrance. “I only wear one scent. I’ll stick to the same perfume for years before I switch,” something she hopes her fans will be able to do with her fragrance. “I wanted it to be something that you can have and wear it day or night and have it forever.” Tell us: What fragrances do you keep coming back to over the years? Will you consider adding Kim’s scent to your collection when it launches in 2009?

Settle down girls, the criticism on this thread is not even that bad. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, and Kim is definitely not suffering because a few people “hate on” her online. She’s still rich and famous and is probably laughing all the way to the bank.

As I don’t consider Kim Kardashian a real celebrity, only a mere “celeb wannabe”, to start with, why would I want to smell like her?

I love KIm, but who knows if you will buy something before you smell it? I hate to say, but most celebrity scents reek….I have only found Kimora’s 2 newest fragrances enjoyable-and Jessica Simpson’s previous Dessert line—and believe it or not, Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears-I’m allergic to floral crap….if it reeks like floral, I can’t wear it.

Tina, I don’t have a problem with you. I just feel that the “first” comments are silly and a waste of time for everyone to scroll past. IMO, it’s a pretty lame thing to get excited about. But you know, if it makes you feel better about yourself then go for it.
